I wouldn't go above 5ft11.5 for him..Raymond Huntley was a good 1.5 inches taller than him in The Suspect. Robert Uruquart who for me looked at best a 6ft0.5 guy had him by an inch too. I think 5ft11.5 works nicely for Cushing but I'd be more inclined to go for 11.25 than 6ft if pushed.

@Connor I think you need to speak to someone, from what I’ve read you’re very self defeatist and that’s not healthy. You think how many guys would kill to be your height and are living great lives. At the end of the day everyone has their insecurities, you just have to get on with it and make the most of what you have. 6’0 is tall anyways, not standout but you’re literally taller than 85% of guys in the UK.

I was 18, I think the reason I put a bit of extra height on, is because I started eating a very healthy diet around then, which is what I think contributed to it. Or if it’s not because of that, it’s probably because of genetics or something, I’m not so entirely sure either now I gained 1/2-3/4 an inch later on then.

Canson I do have interests, i like gaming for example. I love playing video games on my PS2, PS5 and XBOX 360. But even when im playing video games it still doesn't really take my mind off things. I still can't help thinking about my height and how mediocre it is. Its easy for you to say these things to me. You have a great height and you're not self conscious about your height and whole appearance in general and you don't suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and depression like i do. You guys can like 6ft and think its a great height if you want, that's your opinion. But saying it is tall is factually incorrect. It's meagrely above average, but still average overall.

c-mo 176-177cm Nope, legit tall is 6ft 2, not 6ft. Again, ive already proved its average in 12 countries, (maybe even more). 6ft is barely above average at best. So 6ft is FAR from perfect, it's a heavily flawed height. Even if it was 85 percent taller than most people or 80 percent, which its neither of those percentages', that's not enough for me. I want to be over 90 percent taller than most people. I'm still going to get the surgery, you cant talk me out of it. 6ft is not the right height for me, im sorry but that's how i feel.

In the pictures of Clint with Momoa there is a clue that these two guys would once have been pretty close in height being Clints legs..their leg/waist lengths look pretty similar. Clint now has the legs of a 6ft4 guy and the spine of someone of about 5ft5. For me with Clint I think it comes down to either 6ft3.25 or 3.5 peak. 5ft10 today wouldn't surprise me,but the poster was right in that anything more than 6ft underground at 94 is a bonus.

I saw footage of him meeting President-Elect Trump today and he had 4 inches easily on him (Trump's head at his eye level).

We know that Trump is still over 6 feet tall, so Prince william would have to be at least 6ft 4 or taller.

Pretty sure she is 5'8 as she claims . Here is a video below of her with 5'7 listed actress Pamela Vilaressi. Bare in mind that the other actress has puffy hair . Liz looks close to two inches taller .

Also seen other movies with her standing beside 5'6 or 5'7 actresses in similar footwear and she looks a strong 5'8. Also in a movie with 5'9 Dennis Hopper both in similar footwear she looks as tall.

In gossip girl she was taller in all but one of the scenes that she appeared in with Blake Lively .

Might be in the minority but i think liz was much more attractive before she got all the work done on her face. She had natural english beauty.

Rob i think you are underestimating the height of mike tyson. A big tyson fan have seen all his fights . When he was younger in the ring fighter taller guys he never looked short unless he was up against guys like 6'6 Mcbride or 6'5 Lewis .

Looking at these I don't know how you can think he is just 5'10 . Also his sparring partner Oliver Mccall who sparred for years with him says he was 5'11. His trainer Kevin Rooney said he was 5'11 and a half . Larry Merchant said that he measured him as he thought he was only 5'9 but was shocked to discover that he was over 5'11.

I know a lot of people on here who have claimed to have met him say he is 5'9 or 5'10 . But mike has very unusual proportions . He has a giant head short neck , short legs and a long body . Guys like that always look shorter than they actually are.

I am a strong 5'11 guy the same height as mike but a lot of people who meet me think I am 6'1 or even 6'2 because i am really well proportioned . I have fairly long legs a really thin waste with broad square shoulders and long neck with a small head and really thin . I look a lot taller than I am .

I was even working with a guy who was 6'3 for a year who thought I was 6'2 . We were standing most of the time beside each other and he kept on calling me tall . I eventually told him I was only 5'11. He didn't believe me . We stood face to face and he couldn't believe how short I was . He even said to me I am shocked I thought you were tall.

I’ve been to Netherlands 2 times before, and I was a kid when I went there, but I remember that my fathers height was solid over there, he was around 6’0 tall, and he seemed kinda tall from far distance, but overall he did felt a bit above average , because he compared himself to the older generations.

I’ve been to Flensburg and kiel many times , trust me. I write and share my subjective experiences. At 177 cm I feel almost average. I guess the average height in north Germany is maybe 5’10 range

In Denmark where I live my height is actually not the end of the world. This is from my own experience. Even though the overall average here is like 179-180 or something, then at 177 I feel almost average. Not all times but sometimes. The average amongst young people is more 181-182 range. But I still feel decent , even in clubs I feel decent about my height.

@Emil I don’t know what you think, but do you sometimes feel kinda tall being 6’0?

Even with these massive boots, Chalamet only seems to have three inches on Kojima. With boots like these, a 5ft 10 person should have an easy four inches at the very least on a 5ft 7 guy like Kojima.

I began to exercise again at 23 by running and going to the gym x3 a week. Maybe it was improved posture or my last bit of growth I’m not entirely sure, but I’ve definitely put on height regardless!

I'm a 187cm or weak 6'2 guy legit barefoot at my normal low just before bed and I can tell you where I live in the U.S. I feel like a half-giant when I wear my 2 inch extra thick running shoes to basically look 6'3 in public. I'd say it's certainly no more than 15% of guys I come across that would measure a real 6 ft.

Sorry to all the 6'0 claimers out there.... measuring 6'0 in your shoes in the morning is a far cry from a legit 6 ft.

As far as what a legit 6 ft actually is....I'd say it's a barefoot morning time measurement -no less- than 6'0 and 1/2. You might measure a quarter under at your low, but to me it's close enough. Only measuring 6 ft first thing in the morning is a very weak 6 ft. I would just claim 5'11 and most people would be surprised and say you look 6 ft anyway with all the fake height claims out there. Wear thick shoes they will think you're 6'2.

There is footage of her performing with Sean Lennon onstage where she is barefoot and he is wearing heeled boots. Sean is typically listed as 5 ft 9, and she is nearly as tall as him despite her having no shoes on.

In the stare down photo of giant haystacks and Andre the giant from there matchup in New Zealand in may of 1980 they seem to be eye to eye in fact Andre seems to be just a fraction less than eye level ok so his leg is not straight but it’s not that much from being straight that there is a great difference between the two giants if you draw a line of there shoulder height and then there eye level they would appear to be very similar in height and no way is there 3 or more inches between them and tell me what height is there between the two one inch maybe two inches at the most and that’s being kind to Andre with that being said haystacks to be around 6ft11 and Andre being 7ft to 7ft1 or if haystacks height on his page says 6ft8 then would that make Andre 6ft10 and this is 1980 peak years for both guys let the debate begin

Also I haven’t looked into the footwear so I’m not confident about this but Jake’s shoes look thicker. They look like they have heels while Jesse’s don’t. In my opinion, Jesse is 5’9 flat, maybe 5’9.25. Standing next to 5’10 Dana white he seemed shorter but not too much shorter. Next to Chris Heria (measured 5’10.5, reaches 5’11 with good posture but didn’t have it in the video) he seemed about an inch and a half shorter. I think Jesse is 5’9 while Jake is around 5’10.5. Jake also looked 1.5 inches shorter than Nate Diaz who I think is about 6ft flat or maybe a tiny bit over, though his hair gives him a slightly taller impression

5’9.5” is definitely the figure; hardly two inches on Lino, sometimes looks more like one inch (but Ventura had bulky footwear). No chance of a full 5’10” though, 5’9.75” absolute max, and I’ve seen a lot of Dewaere’s movies; he was not a full 5’10” guy.

177 cm is the tallest I'd guess. 176.5 cm or 5'9.5" seems most likely. You could say that's what he looked in the 2006 Miami Vice film since he was slightly taller than Jamie Foxx but not even an inch. He actually looked identical to Foxx at the premieres for the film when both had similar dress shoes. Both the UK premiere: Click Here and the American premiere: Click Here 176 cm is probably slightly lower than I'd guess but he again doesn't look over that again in a full pic with Jared Leto: Click Here They again seem very similar in height with any difference there is possibly just posture.

At 5'9.5", Colin should easily his 5'10" claim with some of the thick boots and big heels he's worn throughout his career, particularly 20+ years ago, around 2003-04. But I think he more often struggled to even look that tall. He was always shorter than Jay Leno, even in large-heeled boots he tended to wear on the Tonight Show. You could say Leno was still 5'11" or close to it in Colin's early appearances but Colin wore even bigger heels in 2003 on what looked like vintage, 70s-style boots: Click Here but by 2012, Leno was probably closer to 5'10" than 5'11", probably 5'10.25" or certainly 5'10.5" at most and Colin was still wearing the type of boot he's often worn at at least around 1.6": Click Here but look at how he looked with Leno: Click Here You'll note he certainly doesn't appear 5'10"+ with Dwayne Wade either.

6'0 is above average by the way . even for young european guys it is stil above average . average height for a young european is about 178 - 179 cm at night or so . at 183cm you are 4-5cm above that

and in the rest of the world except 1 african tribe you are legit tall

I may be wrong or missing something, but I really don't think a 175 guy would ever consistently look sub 5ft 8 or 5ft 8 flat. The only time he looks the 5ft 9 listing is when he's in cropped images. Jesse McCartney really is probably the most tricky celeb on this website.

Arch makes a good point. He's a very strong character. He doesn't quite have a Napoleon complex because he's not short by any means but he has the personality of somebody much larger and I've heard guys over the years (legitimately big men who dwarf Keane) name him as one of the toughest opponents they've ever faced on the pitch. I think viper may be right. There is an LA Times article from 2009 about his physical transformation for X-Men Origins: Wolverine that already describes him as 6'1". The article states he bulked to 215 pounds before cutting to 200 pounds for filming, though I've subsequently read elsewhere that he was more like 190 pounds. In any event, it's more notable that he was already described as 6'1" in 2009, at 40, presumably before any height loss. It would certainly make sense if he was more like 6'1.5" peak as viper said.

Hi Connor it’s Jeff, I agree with you about the generations below us seeming to be taller but I am from the south of England and at 6ft1 still to me the average seems around 5ft9.25-5ft.75 I wouldn’t go any higher or any lower with 5ft9.5 being a middle ground, I have 3 friends who are much much taller then me, one 6ft7 and two 6ft8 friends, of course when I’m next to them in pictures I look small but that’s because they are probably in the less than 1% of the population taller than the rest, which isn’t common. Even though when around them I’m 6ft2.25 in shoes.

So it’s all based on perspectives really, but I can’t agree with 30% of men are 6ft tall, or taller, this is coming from someone who frequents to bars and clubs 2/3 times a week and living in a big city in the uk I can’t see it being 6ft at all, unless they are in shoes like Nike with lifts.

@Rob would you say a lot of the time height is distorted because we go from our eye level which is much different from our actual height. My eye level is around 4.75 inches so it ranges anywhere from low 173cm-173.5cm.

I’ve been on this site for around 12-13 years I don’t post much, but I thought I would give my opinion as I am not far from 6ft.

Actually I've noticed with most very tall celebrities I've looked into most don't tend to have an exceptionally tall parent. It is usually two above average to moderately tall range parents who do it. For the very tall guys it's usually a tall range mum. Click Here Joe's parents there. I truly don't believe the proportion of men who measure a solid 183 cm at night is as high as 30 percent. Many 6 claimers will drop to 5-11.5 to 5.11.75 range and will pass for the 6 mark. As Rob says there are just as many 5.11.5 guys as there are 6 foot guys.

@cbrady I agree with you that not many guys will be 183 cm as their low evening night, I would say only as posted before 15%. Then of course, it depends of what is the definition is of a legit and accurate 183 cm guy. If it is a guy that has an average of morning and evening height of 183 cm, or gets measured at the doctors around 10 or 11 clock in the morning at 183 cm, then we might have a slightly higher percentage of maybe around 20% of all males that reach this height.

It is even more likely he is not taller than 5'11" when you see him with Tom Hanks for the Catch Me If You Can photocall and consider the likelihood that the 5'11" and 175 pounds in the 2000 Time Magazine profile were figures that came from Leo himself. Pitt did look shorter at that Berlin premiere for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and you can see in this full picture he had a fraction more footwear wearing those 1.2"-1.3" range heels he's often worn at red carpet events: Click Here Pitt was also shorter in Berlin at the photocall with a bit of a footwear advantage again since you see DiCaprio wearing just 0.7" range sneakers: Click Here Video from that event also shows Leo taller: Click Here I would have generally thought Pitt was about 2 cm shorter from almost all of the promotional appearances for the film. I think Pitt must be at least somewhat under 5'11" with DiCaprio but I think he was always at least a bit taller than Clooney. The one exception was the photocall for Burn After Reading at the 2008 Venice film festival: Click Here Pitt is wearing loafers with a small heel while Clooney's motorcycle boots must add at least a cm or a half inch more but the height difference oddly doesn't look less than that. Clooney sometimes only looked like a solid 5'10"-5'10.25" guy to me even at his peak, but he was taller than Michael Parkinson in 2003 so I suppose I can buy that he was as tall as 5'10.5" but no taller. Oddly, the 3rd picture Putrescent posted on 26/Sep/24 is the photocall for Wolfs from the 2024 Venice Film Festival and that is a rare event in which Clooney can appear as tall as Pitt or at worst 1 cm shorter. I don't know if that is just Pitt wearing a style of sneaker that adds less height or if Clooney was wearing an elevator shoe. Clooney apparently wore lifts and bought elevator shoes around 2012 while dating Stacy Keibler and likely on some occasions after because his wife Amal will also be quite tall in heels and he may be compensating for some height loss. If you see him with Sandra Bullock in the picture at the top of Clooney's page, he definitely looks closer to 5'10" than 5'11" then in his early 50s and by age 55, his posture could make him look as short as 5'9" at times so it's surprising to see him looking as tall again as he did at the recent photocall in Venice. Whether that is Clooney wearing an elevator shoe would probably at least require at least a good shot of the shoe from the side.

@Legend 176.8 cm: As I mentioned in my last post, I would have said De Niro was 169 cm or 5'6.5" range if forced to guess from 10 feet away around that exact time in September 2019. I assume he would have looked a bit taller up close but I have an uncle around De Niro's age who was about my height until his late 70s and is finally not over 172 cm since about 80 and even with posture typical of men that age, he definitely still seems taller than De Niro did 5 years ago. Niro's posture got worse and he looked to lose at least 1-2 cm more between age 70-75. But De Niro was still 170-171 cm range or at least 5'7" in 2016 since he was definitely still taller than Roberto Duran, whom Rob met and said was 5'6.5" himself by then, iirc.

Late 2000s or around age 65, I still think De Niro could have possibly even measured 5'8" flat or at least 172 cm. If Matt Damon is 5'9.5" then De Niro could still look about 5'8" with him aged 68 in these full pictures from 2011: Click Here Click Here Even with the camera advantage in the 2nd picture, Damon does not look a full 2" taller. But aged 70, De Niro does look 1.5" shorter than Stallone in normal dress shoes: Click Here It's not clear if Stallone had lost any height by age 67 so I think he hadn't lost more than 1/4" at most. But Stallone was never taller than about 5'9" flat or 175 cm. Cop Land was a rare film in which Sly didn't wear lifts, but you can see De Niro was slightly shorter in the ending scene when they're walking away or even more clearly in this picture taken on set: Click Here De Niro still seemed to be at his peak height then in the mid-1990s or 53 years old. But he couldn't have been taller than 5'8.5" since there's a chance Stallone was as short as that height peak or 174 cm, although I think at least 5'8.75" or 174.5 to 175 cm seems more likely for Sly.

Interestingly in light of De Niro putting 5'11" on his early CV in the 1960s, his character in Bang The Drum Slowly also claimed 5'11". I'll have to check again how he looked compared to David Proval in Mean Streets but I suppose it is not impossible he was already wearing lifts to appear taller on screen. He did actually appear close to Jack Nicholson's height in The Last Tycoon, but maybe Jack was closer to 5'9" than 5'9.5" himself since De Niro otherwise appeared a bit under 5'9" in that film.

@Connor. I live in a country where the average height for males is slightly higher for males than in the UK. I am 4 cm taller than you and I measure around lunch 6 ft 1.5 inches barefoot or 187 cm. I feel in most settings tall. In a big event or gathering, i belong usually to the tallest people ( in comparison mainly with men between 30 and 50).

Obviously, there are men taller than me but i am very rarely towered by another man. The point I want to make is that we have a total different way of perceiving our height. I am not so much taller than you and you can not tell me that the 4 cm height difference between us make such a big difference in perception.
