his claim above about his weight was not really the smartest. He pretty mutch say that he was working out like crazy and tried gainers but still didnt put on any muscles but only fat. Then suddenly couple years later when his testosterone levels not peaked anymore he got shredded to about 7-8 procent bodyfat year around and muscular to the normal mans eye. He doesnt look like he take steroids but that statement makes me think he is on tesoterone replacement therapy and may take som strong fatburner year round to be able to be at his very low bodyfat. Only a guess. Height is always above 6´4 guys. minimum 184,5 and could be the full 6´5. I think legit 195.

On Kevin Nash's new podcast, he was talking about the movies he had starred in and one of them was Magic Mike with Joe. He said Joe was around 6'5. In their red carpet photos, Nash look comfortably 4-4.5 inches taller than Manganiello. At that time, I would say Joe was 6'5 and Nash was still 6'9.5 range.

I don’t think Joe actually looks taller than Reggie Miller, actually a little shorter considering angle and posture, it wouldn’t surprise me if Reggie lost a little after working hard as an athlete. Joe does hold up near 6’5” and a strong six footer like Channing Tatum looks well and truly towered near Nash, Miller and Manganiello.

@Ice: Mangianello does look slightly taller. I agree with 184guy. And I say that because Barkley has thicker footwear and is standing straighter. Barkley had a larger head as well so people think he’s taller than he is automatically. But Barkley at his peak was a 6’4.5 to 6’4.75 guy (more 6’4.5 to 6’4 5/8) and he’s likely not that today. He’s probably lost 1/4-3/8” if not a bit more. Joe is still at his peak height. I have joe in the 6’4.5-.75 range meaning 6’4.5 to 5/8 afternoon 6’4 5/8 to 3/4 lunch

@Christian: we’re pretty much the same. I lose roughly 3/4” (more like 1.9 cm). Some days 2 flat. At an extreme low I have hit a flat 6’4 a few times but some days it’s a mm or so above that. But I was saying that to Rampage as even Max another taller poster here said he was very muscular and that he was 6’6.25 out of bed and 6’5,5 at a low (some days even 6’5 5/8). He said he called himself 6’5 though as he rounded down. I was simply saying that not all 6’4 or 6’5 guys (in fact very few or maybe under half) lose the inch. Ali Baba at last check was 6’6 range peak and he didn’t lose the full inch. He said 6’6.75 out of bed 6’6 flat peak and today he Was a bit under 6’6” to where he said he can get down as low as 6’5.5” now a days at an extreme low at least

Body weight and spine length are also factors. I'm not particularly heavy (225lbs) nor do I have a long torso, so I only lose 3/4". Only if we're talking extreme lows, then I'll lose the full inch.

That range really starts an inch or so taller as I recall Jdubbz when he was 6’5-6’6 range wasn’t losing a full inch and Christian along with my 6’5 friend don’t lose the full inch just yet. They’re still 3/4”. For Mangianello, it’s tough to say. He may be a 6’5.25 guy out of bed and 6’4.5 at a low or 6’5.5 and 6’4.75 or 6’5.5 and 6’4.5. Tough to say. I doubt 6’4.75 is his normal low tho but maybe lunchtime

@Alex: mine varies a bit depending on how active as well. It can also vary based on sitting. Rob mentioned that too and I tested it once and saw I didn’t lose as much somewhat reclined vs sitting on a hard surface. I can hold 6’4 3/8” some days into the afternoon or near 4 1/2” some days and dip down later but on the regular day the 4 1/2 is long gone by afternoon unless I manage to lay down

Canson, yes 5 hrs post waking i could agree on. Work days I'm up 5-530am. I'm sure by 12-1pm I'm very near my low or at it. I have fairly physical job and its on feet. Lunchtime i always think of as noon time. On less active days itll take me longer to hit the low. A day no work and gym together I'm definitely a small fraction taller. Few months ago got almost 6'0.25 in the afternoon. Lowest i ever got was 5'11 7/8 on a stadio in evening

And that’s a different story. People assume a lunchtime height is 1/4”-1/2” above the afternoon when it’s not. For you and for me, it’s 1/8” above. I can see some cases where it could be 1/8-1/4” above but not 1 cm above. People misinterpret what Rob says usually out of convenience but in some cases out of ignorance

Joe is on 195 range, looks like it on some occasion quite often, the anomaly photo are with Michael Strahan, which i could explain, in my opinion, he could add some extra insoles in his shoes that add roughtly 1/2 inch of height and it's pretty common even with a non celebrity like me, i have 2 of them but i rarely used them, so i think that should explain why Michael can look the same with Joe and Vince Vaughn or even taller, but turns out to be shorter than Alex Skarsgard on the other day, who's clearly shorter than Joe.

I have had Joe at 6'4+ for the longest time. I have had Anthony Joshua at 6'5+ for the longest time. In those pending years, some height user(s) or user took an exception to these estimates, the bulk of their frustrations seemed to be around these lower half estimates ie Joe at 6'4, 6'4.25, which sounds like a pretty reasonable estimate to make. I would not put him above 6'4.5. This is what obviously caused an offense to you since you deemed it fit to reply at these estimates currently. The only time Joe looks in the 6'3-range is where Joe is leaning in the other two photos Rob supplied with him above. There are three comparisons, each photo gives a different range. In respect to each photo, the range looks different however, for me Joe is around the 6'4-range. Obviously with such celebs such Channing Tatum Joe can look lower depending on what height you have for them. Tatum at 6'1, Joe can look like a strong 6'4, ~6.4.5, 6'4.75. With Tatum with at ~6'0, Joe can look lower in respect to this estimate. The same with Joshua, depending on shoe advantage and height lines in that picture with Rob, Joshua can seem lower but his height is obviously 6'5+ because he also looked 0.5-0.75-inches than Lennox Lewis.

You have given Usyk a height estimate of near 6'3 and I would say he is near 6'2, are you found to be offended by this estimate too?

Now in terms of that Levi and Joe comparison that you supplied, come on there was not an almost 2-inches difference between them even if you clarified now with 1.5-inches. No way, Joe looks 1.5-inches taller than Levi there. I don't know what you are seeing. However, if Joe is indeed 1.5-inches taller than Levi, that is another issue.

No, Joe does not seem to be taller than Strahan in most of the material available that I have seen. There is no real evidence for it and if you look at the ones avaliable, including any recent meeting of the two, you can see Strahan looks the taller one and even if they were the same height, Strahan is around 6'4.25. Strahan was taller than Vince, Alexander and Joe when he met them. Strahan was shorter than Lewis and Kobe when he met them. Kobe is the height you think Joe is at ie near 6'5. Lewis is also someone not far off 6'5 mark. To me Joe is just above 6'4 mark, possibly upto 6'4.5 in the early afternoon. His hair makes it difficult to judge.

@Canson, I believe my estimates generally line with yours on most celebheight estimates but as with everything in life, not every single subjective opinion matches.

In terms of these Celebheight users who throw superlatives around and call other height users as troll when they simply have a different opinion to thiers, these sort of systematic common narrative checkers i tend to ignore. The site is full of these sort of rare individuals. I can't really see a true basis for thier accusations but I would encourage everyone to express thier true estimates or at least ranges with an obvious margin of error, a wide scope of opinions are healthy to any debate.

I have never seen the comparisons of Strahan with Kobe before and yes, in mostly all the comparisons, Kobe is clearly the taller individual. I know that Kobe can measure near 6'5. I know Lennox Lewis, another legit 6'4.5-6'4.75 also had height on Strahan when they met therefore it is obvious Strahan does not reach 6'5. This old NFL combine measurement of 76.3-inches seemed accurate to me and this easily could have been an earlier measurement, with a likely height loss during the day. Yes, he could fall to 6'4 instead of the 6'4.25 I have him at but I would be reluctant to put him any lower. I know Joe looks a certain height when we compare him to Rob, yes but to me, each time he has met Strahan, Strahan has had height on him, this could partially be explained by footwear. Strahan does seemingly wear them 1.25-inch formal shoes at times however, Strahan has also edged your other benchmark 6'4-6'5 celebrities on the occassions they have met such as Vince Vaughn and Alexander Skarsgaard [butchered the his name again], he always seems to have the edge.

I still believe Strahan rarely, if ever, drops below the 6'4 threshold, with Lewis and Kobe being the near 6'5 candidates. I don't know if Joe is taller than these two. Joe, can be 6'5 or near 6'5 if Rob is a 5'9 or near 5'9 candidate which we all know Rob can measure. Rob is certainly not 5'8 flat at all times. However, there are three pictures of Rob with Joe to compare. I still believe Joe had the footwear advantage that day with his boots and Rob could of stood better. As it is now, I remember Joe was at the 6'4.5 mark when them height lines were superimposed and together his hairstyle, he can virtually appear as a weak-6'5 but can I give him that? 6'4.5 is the most I could go with. I know in the immediate years he has met an ageing Hulk Hogan who still does look 6'3, I could not see a greater than 1-inch difference between the two. Hogan measured up pretty well with Joe. In terms of Tatum, it has been a longtime since I last time I visited his page. I know I provisionally had him at ~6'0 at the time. Hmmmm, does he look near 6'5 with Tatum if Tatum is indeed 6'1? Possibly. Does he look near 6'5 with a closer to 6'0 Tatum? More closer to 6'4.

Rob has met Levi and has listed him at 6'3. You are insinuating Joe is near 6'5 or at 6'5. Joe is likely taller than Levi, I have him over 6'4 and Levi at 6'3 although Levi can appear taller at times but these imagined inches are delusional.

Now, compare him to the aged Goldblum who Rob has at 6'3.5 currently and where many height contributors have in the 6'3-range, hovering over ~6'3 or at 6'3, it hard to imagine a greater than a 1-inch difference between the two. Rob does not look near 6'5 compared to Goldblum neither. The guy is between 6'4-6'4.5.

Who are you again? There are plenty of valid and reasoned opinions here, majority within 1-inch estimates of Rob's listing. 1-inch of variance sounds reasonable although you get your random extreme downgraders with the one-liners and on the other end of the scale, you get professional upgraders, this lot usually write alot of paragraphs of trivial matter with some Charm but with the fantastical height upgrades following, I don't believe they actually believe these estimates that's the problem. This is a time-after-time pattern however, the majority of opinions sound impartial and it is rather interesting having height discussions with this lot.

Joshua is 6'5+, what are you on about? He was looking 6'5.5 with Usyk, for such a taller guy 0.5-1-inch subjective variances are expected. The guy at times looks genuinely 1-inches taller than a legit 6'4.5-6'4.75 Lennox Lewis. Coincidentally, these close to 6'5 estimates will put Joe above Lennox Lewis .... I say stick to the lower half of 6'4. I wouldn't go above 6'4.5 for him. The guy likely has a small edge on the likes of a legit 6'4 David Hasselhoff.

Now, allow the strawmans, it is getting rather old. In the World of "near 6-foot" Brad Pitts and these 6'2s and 7'4s and 24-inch pythons and their promoters you need weighted responses to balance out the effect.

However, if we want to argue Joe is taller through indirect comparisons with other celebrities than that is another issue.

Saying that, it can be terribly difficult to differentiate between 6'4.25 or 6'4.5, it is tricky. I see 6'4.25, some might be see higher. His hair makes it even harder to ascertain his exact height but my point is, I don't think he is a near 6'5, I can't see him taller than Lennox Lewis for example and even if were to set height lines based on Rob being a 5'8 benchmark, he would have difficulty passing the 6'4.5 line and this is based on Rob's relaxed posture above.

@Christian: Young was measured at 6’5” flat but you’re right that Kobe has always edged him. Many argue Kobe is underlisted but 6’5” is still the most he ever looks. So that shows Young is either a morning measurement or an inaccurate afternoon listing. Really I could argue that it’s something like a 6’4.77 (195cm) and was done at the equivalent to his morning or it was a case where the shoe height was put in the barefoot column. He also looked noticeably smaller Than Klay Thompson and Draymond Green both of which are slightly taller than Kobe but still not more than 6’5.25

You could assume they had heavily different footwear but it almost looks like Joel McHale edges out slightly taller, and I don’t think the footwear would be able to cover over 1.25 inches. Yep, and I've also had 6'6" on my license for years, before I changed it to 6'5" when I renewed it. Anyways, 3/8" IMO is probably the most awkward spot to be in, because while your closer to 0/8" at your low, you're right between 0 and 8/8" (the next inch) at noon or so, so if you get measured by the doctor at noon, chances are that you'll be rounded up to the next inch, despite your true height (which I consider it to be your low height) being closer to 0, like I mentioned. Guys who're 1/4", 1/2", or 5/8" at their lows, don't encounter these problems like we do. This is one of the reasons why I'd rather claim 6'5.5" to people, than just 6'5", because I'm in an awkward limbo between 6'5" and 6'6". If I claim 6'5", I feel like I would be short changing myself, but if I claim 6'6", then I feel like that's unfair, especially if I stand next to someone who's at a legit honest height. For example, let's say that there's a 6'4 1/8" guy who claims 6'4", but if I claim 6'6", it wouldn't add up, because there's only a 1.25" difference between the two of us, not 2".

I've heard so many different estimates of the average Dutch height ranging from what you said to as high as 186cm. Native Dutch people online tend to give crazy estimates like up to 188cm, which is laughable. I assumed that 183cm or so is about right, but maybe that's too high. I personally consider the start of very tall to be right around 193cm in the US as opposed to 190cm, so based off a 176cm average height in the US and maybe 181cm average height in the Netherlands, very tall would be 198cm upwards. That's just my own interpretation though. If you consider 190cm very tall in the US, then 195cm would indeed be on the cusp in the Netherlands.

@Christian: I saw what Rob said below regarding the 10 am appt where Padalecki could measure. I really see how much that throws people off now after being on this site for 5 years. Padalecki may not see it as much if he’s 6’4” flat afternoon height so an earlier measurement assuming it’s 2-3 hours after waking gets him 6’4.25 perhaps so he claimed 6’4 and change and the doctors will still list him 6’4” on his medical. However, when you get someone like you or me and we both wake up 6’6” and 6’5 and dip to say 6’5.25 and 6’4.25. If we do the same timeframe after waking, we may end up being listed at 6’5 and 6’6” still by virtue of rounding up. If we didn’t ask it’s very possible that we may take the 6’5 and 6’6 at face value and believe we are that being many medical professionals don’t necessarily read off the exact measurement to the fraction or cm like we would here on Celebheights. Then you get the guy who really does measure 6’6.25” at the same point in the day or someone like Padalecki and they may only fall to 6’6” and 6’4 flat and claim that While we would claim 6’6 and 6’5 and look close to an inch shorter possibly. And that’s before we even get into hair or shoes etc. I know you mentioned once that the doctor didn’t stop all the way down on your head and once you Also had 6’6” on your medical.

Like I said before, Carter has a massive camera disadvantage, yet he still looks taller than his 6’4.75” listing. I agree that Joe had a footwear disadvantage, in your photo, but the other photos show Big show wearing different shoes.

I would say that a worst case is carter-Williams and Manginainello are the same height but I would say that Joe edges him. It’s possible he grew but if he did it’s likely just to 6’4.5. He could be as low as 6’4.25 if he measured that in the morning

@Sotiris: Cam Heyward measured 6’4 5/8 at the combine. He’s not as high as 6’4 1/2 in the afternoon. Joe looks slightly taller imho. Ben measured 6’4 7/8

@184guy Levi not a lift wearer and he often wear converse sneakers that give as low as 0.5" with bad slouch sometimes. Joe is no way over 1.5" on him and it could be 1.25" as low. Joe can roughly be as low as 6'4 1/2 and Levi is really not a flat 6'3 guy. I do my estimate and i do know someone solid 6'0 person met Levi in comic-con up close who can define a solid 8cm as much as 3.5" from their difference not less than 3.25" as mention. The 6'0 i personally met a few times in real looking 6'0-6'0.25". I can tell you Levi is min 6'3.25" cannot be lower and i'm not so sure about Joe being 6'4.75" maybe he is 6'4 5/8 or 1/2. Ralf Moeller still look a cm on Joe. Ralf could be 197cm peak and 196 now.

@184guy and KA188: I think Moeller looks taller. Once the camera angle changes and Moeller stood straight. Moeller has retained his height very well since he can still look around 2cm taller at times. I’d say not less than .5”. I think Joe is 6’4.5 at a low maybe 5/8 and Moeller 6’5.25-3/8 today. I think a peak Moeller was a weak 6’6” like Rob lists him as that looks like a low. Meaning he may even be listed 6’5 5/8 after 5 hrs

I don't think he looks taller , in the reality he looks a little shorter in the video . Certainly nothing over 1cm . They are pretty close .Ralf around 196 today ( 197 peak ) and Joe around 195,at worst 194.5

@184guy2 ,Joe looks an inch taller maybe the camera angles favour him a bit too but Ralf moeller is almost 20 years older and has been gyming since 1970s he probably lost an 2 or 3 cm.
