He looked exactly the height Alfie Allen is in Jo-Jo Rabbit. If not even a wee bit shorter than Alfie. Alfie for me seems like a 169cm kinda guy but I think you have listed him as 170cm. So maybe Alfie had some thicker boots, but I still can’t imagine Sam is taller than 171cm. 171cm is my guess but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s slightly under it

What a pleasant change to the part he played in 'The Green Mile', apart from the comedy bits therein which had me in stitches! Sam is playing the loving father of two in this, and it suits him. He has just bought his advanced 9-year-old son, the Joshua of the film's title, a book on ancient Kings, and is encouraging his unusual interest in the ancient Egyptians. Little does he know that, harbouring away in that little child's brain are evil thoughts....

I'm not sure, but he seems just a little bit shorter than Robin Chalk in Moon (even though he is Sam's body double), but between 172-175 seems about right. I'm 5'9 and have pretty much the same proportions as Sam. (Just saying he could be kind of like my size)

I'm a SAG actor and 5'9.5" I worked with him yesterday. Both barefoot waiting for wardrobe I was about 2-2.5" taller. 5'7" to 5'7.5" is accurate. However, the director and wardrobe insisted he was 5'9" when his stand-in questioned it.

in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy he sports ridiculous heels and still isn't much taller than Mos Def and Martin Freeman. 5'8'' is max that I'd give this guy. His posture might not be the best, but usually wears big boots.

This guy claims to be 5'9. To me, he's lucky if he scrapes 5'8. William Macy is at least an inch taller than him and he's only 5'9. Doesn't he wear heels to make himself look taller in movie premiers as well? I would guess he's in the 5'7.5-5'7.75 range.
