I am six foot seven - probably am a bit more but six foot seven just sounds a bit more normal. I get asked that on a daily basis two or three times a day. I become used to it: it's not annoying anymore, it's just part of my day.
The genuine question will be 'how tall are you?', I'll go 'six-foot seven' and then they'll say a joke, usually along the lines of 'you should play basketball' or 'ooo, that's tall!', as if I didn't know. Especially when I went to America - quite a few times I've been - and I get asked that all the time: 'you play ball?' - no.

I found an article describing a doppelganger of Harry Kane. The height of the Kane doppelganger is given as 6 feet 8 inches. Further below is a picture of him together with peter crouch. I think peter crouch looks at least the same height (if not taller) in the photo, although crouch may be standing a tiny bit closer to the camera.

I don't know how high doors are in the UK but even with a bent posture he seems to be about 5 cm taller than the door. There also seems to be a tape measure hanging in his house. I assume the top marks are for his height and I think they are at least 203cm. In my opinion he is not shorter than 203 cm in the evening. Here you can watch the part of the show: Click Here

When i first saw the big guy playing football on tv one night and saw him scoring a goal with his head at the back post and still beating a 6' 3" tall goal keeper and i dont thinck peter crouch had to jump. But a goal keeper at that height should still be able to stop a guy at peters height using both arms to do enough to put him off balance. But i remember saying "he must be about 6 foot 9 that guy" i wouldnt like to be 6' 8" and skinny, no chance. I am 6ft but i thinck 6' 3" and well built is what i would prefer, no more than 6'5"

I guess i was lucky to hit over 6'5. That was not included my four sisters they're also pretty tall ranging at 5'10 1/8 (oldest sister), 5'8 1/2, 5'9 1/4, 6'0 1/8 (baby-sis just turn 16). Strange thing was that both of my great-grandpa from both sides were over 6'3 range and my maternal grandfather was 6'4 peak and uncle was 6'5 which is the tallest among my mom three brothers. I guess all my brothers and my taller genes came from my mother side.

Anyway, you did right in asking your 6'7" tall hairdresser how tall he is! I think when you're around 6feet6 upwards it becomes increasingly hard to guess that sort of height. I've been guessed at anything from 6feet4 to 6feet9 which is hell of a margin. With crouches build he can look anything around 6feet8, but that's because he's stick thin.

I'd buy 6,8" for Crouchy. Yes he's very skinny which enhances the perception of height, but the way he towers over Rio and David James suggests 6,8".
Also there's a picture knocking about of him next to Nikola Zigic who is always referred to as 6,8" and there is no difference.
