Rio holds up really well, Pique's hair is helping him look taller, which he might be but not a full inch imo. Perhaps Ferdinand is due a 1/4 upgrade and Pique a 1/4 downgrade?

I guess Ferdinand could legitimately near 6'4 in the morning (1.92m-1.93m).
Nethertheless, I'm a little on the fence with regards to giving him 1.93m or a full 6'4 in the morning
. Midday to afternoon mark would bring him , IMO, to 6'3.5 or so. Sometime in the evening or night height/absolute low would roughly be 1.91m .
He could easily deserve an upgrade , from my observation to maybe 6'3 and a half (1.92m).
Oddly, on Google he is listed as 6'2 or 1.88m , which definitely seems like an underlisting.

He’s def 6’3” but he has proportions that make him appear taller I don’t rule out that he could dip under if he did claim 6’2 (6’2.75 is worst case at his low). But he’s not 6’2”. He can really pass for over 6’3” in some cases

No chance he's under 6ft3. 6ft3.25 is more likely than 6ft2.5. Solid 6ft3 guy,6ft2 is either a misquote or a deliberate round down. I'd probably rule out 6ft3.5 as well though. I've seen Rio up close twice and he's a big imposing guy,tall and well built.

Rio actual said he is 6ft 2in, however most on this blog are giving him 6ft 3in (yes morning height I agree). He and Idris Elba are exactly the same height. I'd say he's 6ft 2 1/2in most of the day.

I had a tall asian friend who was 6'1 1/4 and took a close up snap with Rio look a solid 6cm between them. My friend wasn't anything below 186cm as concern when ask he mention that Rio did not have any footwear advantage with him and he did estimate Rio height accurate as 192cm. Which is 6'3 1/2 best fit for him.

Bizarre the way his height often gets misrepresented. I've seen him described as 187,188 and 189 quite often. I've seen him up close twice and he's a big bloke, I'm 6ft0.75 and he's considerably taller than me. I'd perhaps keep the 6ft3 listing but I wouldn't contest 6ft3.25 either.
Bizarre the way his height often gets misrepresented. I've seen him described as 187,188 and 189 quite often. I've seen him up close twice and he's a big bloke, I'm 6ft0.75 and he's considerably taller than me. I'd perhaps keep the 6ft3 listing but I wouldn't contest 6ft3.25 either.

For every photo of Rio looking 6'3" there's another 10 photos to point him towards 6'3.5". With Wayne they are stood directly side by side with dress shoes on an even red carpet and Wayne barely reaches the bottom of Rio's nose. That is easily a 6.5" difference. Likewise with Beckham who reaches about the centre of his eyes.....a 4.5" difference. The problem is I'm struggling to upload these images to this site, but if you or anyone can google this info and look in images you can see for yourself. If there's one person on this site who needs an upgrade its Rio. My theory is his extreme low is 6'3 and for very much of the day he holds 6'3.5" getting out of bed at near enough scraping 6'4" (which incidentally there are also a few reports of him being put at).

If pique is a hair taller (he can appear it) then it makes sense. Pique may be 6'3.5-.75 is how he appears tops and Rio could be 6'2.75-6'3 like Christian said. Even if he falls within the 1/4" at his lowest evening like 6'2 7/8 I still consider that legit enough a 6'3"

I didn't change anything. I said that he's not anything under 189 worst case scenario. His typical night height is no less than 190, but may dip under it if extreme lowest.
Afternoon: 6'3"
Usual low: 6'2 7/8"

@christian - i have even seen him listed at 6'2 flat a few times but he is clearly taller than that.he always looked taller than other 6'2 guys. Any photos out there of Rio and Andy Murray? would be an interesting comparison.

Rio Ferdinand is probably one of the best examples I can think of of a proper 6'3 guy. Always looks it.

6'3-1/4 would be best fit for Rio Ferdinand. He look shaky on the 6'3 mark like he can stand at his tallest at 6'3.5 but came down at a solid 6'3.25 range, Pique i start to believe stand tall closer to 6'4 but little bit of weak 6'4 maybe only the posture of Busting a Gut he look clearing 6'4 in the morning. But really not full inch taller than Rio it's like 0.5 range between them. Rio had very good posture most of time but also stand loose at times. Rob should consider a 0.25 upgrade for Rio. Anyway thanks rob for adding him!
