I think he definitely cleared 6ft2 in his prime but I'm not as sure if he was a true 6ft3. More like 6ft2½ or best case 6ft2¾. I'd rate him similarly to Ted Danson

He is more like within the 1.79m mark or mid 5'10 range - 5'10.5 would be about right. In his youth he could be 1.80m or 5'11 flat.

Wenger has been listed as 6ft3 but I don't think he was that tall in the 90s. Proper 6ft3 range guys like Tony Adams and Dave Seaman were both taller than him,however Wenger was taller than 6ft1-2 range guys like Henry and Bergkamp, so my feeling is strong 6ft2 or at best 6ft2.5 for peak Wenger. Could pull off a very tall look though with his lanky frame in 90s baggy style suits.

I saw Wegner up close in the 90's and was shocked by how tall he was, I thought he was average height. I reckon he was over 6ft2 back then. He's probably lost a bit by now.

Edged Roy Keane in the 90’s so his peak is on point but today 5ff10 flat looks closer

5ft10.75 is a very honest claim peak but I seriously doubt he's 5ft10 today, with 6ft2 Van Nistlerooy recently he looked 5ft9. 5ft10.75 peak and 5ft9.5 today.

Always had Ferguson around 5'11 probably closer to 5'10 now. How tall does Southgate look in this pic? He often seems in the 6'1 range to me.

I always thought sir alex ferguson looked at least 5'11"05 to 6ft at peak height. But today i would put him at 5'10" 05. Wich is still quite tallish. But i remember wayne rooney saying after the first time he mett him "i didnt realise he was so tall" so that would make him a weak 6ft back then. But the mans now at an age when he will have lost around 2 inches. So today i put him at 5'10"05

Just watching the 'never give in' documentary on amazon prime - looking at video footage of a young Ferguson when he was a player and also out and out about (when on a march), has a really lanky build would be very surprised if he wasn't 6 ft afternoon height at his youngest, wonder if perhaps he was one who lost a bit of height quite early.

I always thought alex ferguson at peak height was at least 5' 11" to 6ft and even next to beckham who claims to be 6ft. Alex in his 50s even looked the same height as beckham every time in countless photos. So i would say 5'11"05 to 6ft at peak height and 5'10"05 for todays height.

Rob, what do you reckon for Ryan Giggs and Roy Keane?

If you look at photos of them together, they look as though they could both be about 5' 10.5".

Keane can look anything from 5' 9" range to 5' 11" though. Not easy to pin down but I'd say 179 cm.

Looked a little shorter than Beckham at his peak.probably he was almost 180 cm and Beckham around 181.
