@Lo, she is actually 5'7.5"-5'8". I've seen her next to other people and in fairness she often easily looks 5 ft 8 even accounting for heels. It's just Crouch is understating his height at 6'7". If he measured under 205cm in footwear I'd be surprised.

Yeah that daughter of his is going to end up over 6 ft almost certainly. Tall fathers tend to have tall daughters, look at Sophie Ellis Bexter and Lisa Snowdon for instance. And her mother's pretty tall for a woman too. Very tall people usually display the trait right from birth unless they develop some disease like acromegaly and the fact she is the height of a 3 year old at 1 says it all!

Exaggerrating angle maybe but in my opinion he gives the ooomph! factor with his height like an NBA basketball player would. He said himself a lot of people abroad when they see him think he's a basketball player. I genuinely think he looks 6 ft 9 in shoes.

Well Rio Ferdinand is probably one of the best examples of a 191cm 6'3" guy you can possibly get. And with his built he can look quite lanky at times like another excellent 6'3" example Sacha Baron Cohen. Rio was a shade shorter than legit 6'3.5" Snoop Dogg. Crouch has near 5 inches on Rio. Rob how much would be a reasonable height loss range for a super tall guy between 6'6 and 7 ft ? Do you think they could lose quite 2 inches a day? I mean if you are 325 pounds like 7'1" Shaq you could imagine him being around 7'2 out of bed and barely 7' flat at night?

Not barefoot, I agree but I think Crouch in a pair of normal loafers would be very close to 6'9". To me he looks about 6'9" in shoes. Easy to imagine him measuring 202-03cm barefoot though seeing that Dubai beach picture.

Personally, standing with good posture it would not suprise me if this guy was 6'8/6'9 region. As I've said previously its so difficult to gauge when there doesn't seem to be a reference point within 4 inches of him.
There is a guy I see at my works occasionally, he is huge, I wouldn't have a clue whether he was 6'10,7' or 7'2, all I can say is he is easily a head taller than a 6'2 colleague of mine.

I am 6'5" (unfortunately measured in police station) and for once i met someone taller than me. Really nice guy i met him in a well known Dublin nightclub and he was there with his missus i said hello to him at the bar and he said hello back and as far as i can tell he was approx 2" taller than me so id defo put him at 6'7"

Aside from the two 204 cm players I mentioned below there is also a Norwegian striker who is 6'8" and a few more Serbian/Croatian players who are in the 6'7-6'8" range. Jan Koller the Czech striker is 202cm 6'7.5" I believe but probably at least 50 pounds heavier than Crouch.

Must feel very strange to be in a body that tall and thin, Anything over a genuine 6'4" barefoot is in my view exceptionally tall. If he is a strong 6'7" barefoot then i can see how he frequently looks 6'8" on the pitch in his studs or even 6'9" to some in shoes.

I then googled Distin's stats and he's listed as 6'4!!!

On Britain's Next Top Model, and in the final episode, Abbey Clancy states her height as 5 foot and 8 and a half inches. You have to be at least 5' 7" to get on the show, so she probably is about this height, and she didn't look like she was the shortest girl on the show. 6'7" is about right for him I would say, based on this comparison.
