@MikeO: I believe back then that it was Simply National Airport. I live in Virginia right outside of DC myself and the airport is in VA. The name changed somewhere in the mid90s. I was in Middle School I think and Iām 38 now. And interesting because both Hines and Johnson are both deceased now

I ran into him a Reagan airport In DC(if it was called that then) in 1991 or thereabouts. He was not standing ā but he was very much larger than I thought he would be ā such that I thought to myself "that's either Gregory Hines or former NBA player Dennis Johnson". (They had similar complexions, noses and freckles). So I held out my hand (which he looked at, like it was a dead fish, shaking it with all the enthusiasm you would have when someone extends a dead fish to you) and said "just want to say am a big fan". He never stood, but my guess is 6 foot tall. If he was 5 foot 10 I never would've even thought of the 6'3" Dennis Johnson.

Good actor thought he was taller, seemed more than 1 over average.
But did play along side shorts often..
I'm going with 5 10 .5 even 5 11 seems more likely.

Also unforgettable in White Nights, Rob.

Think 5'10 is a tad too low. Could look almost 6'.

He looked slightly taller than Robert McCormack on Will & Grace, leaning towards Hayes' height.
