He’s Drew Brees height twin. Good listing. About an inch shorter than Joe.
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 18/Oct/21
Somewhere in 183.5-184cm zone barefoot and in football boots 187.5-188cm
Wayne Fan said on 4/Oct/21
Was probably close to 6'1 in his prime. Need a page for John Elway!
Canson said on 17/Sep/19
@Christian: he never threw out a number. He just said he thought I was taller than that. As soon as he said Young was 6’2” the next time I kinda thought to myself I can’t take this guy seriously
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 16/Sep/19
@Canson
How tall did he guess you at, 6'6"?
Canson said on 18/Aug/19
He’s 6’0”. Funny I met someone once who tried to tell me he’s 6’2”. Same guy thought I was taller than 6’4”
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 16/Aug/19
If he measured 6'0 5/8", then 6'0 1/8" will likely be his low. I've never heard of a football player being measured at night.
Canson said on 14/Aug/19
@Christian: agreed
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 6/Aug/19
6ft0½ is possible
RP said on 8/Dec/18
6’0-5/8” peak morning barefoot height...6’0-1/4” late afternoon.
viper said on 3/Sep/18
With 6-1 measured Rickey Jackson.

He was never 6-0 5/8
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 1/Sep/18
@RP
If he really was 6'0 5/8", why did he claim 6 feet multiple times? Especially being an athlete in a sport where taller height is advantageous.
RP said on 30/Aug/18
Peak Heights
Steve Young: 6’0-5/8”
Joe Montana: 6’1-1/2”
Jerry Rice: 6’1-3/4”
Morning measuremts most likely.
RP said on 30/Aug/18
He was 6’0-5/8” barefoot !!!
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 8/Mar/18
Yeah I think 183-184cm barefoot and 187-188cm in football boots.

Mormons don't lie, or do they?
Bradlyl said on 6/Mar/18
Nah, he always seemed 6 flat. Doubt he grew more, saw him in early 80's around town once in awhile, same height as he says. Probably same today.
Borats Chicken said on 5/Mar/18
Rob, possible for him being 6ft 1/4 or 1/8 whole day?
Celebheights 6'1.5 said on 4/Mar/18
@Bradly If he ACTUALLY did play football while you were in high school, then he was likely between the ages of 16-18. Therefore, he might have still been growing taller during that time.
viper said on 3/Mar/18
Jerry Rice measured 6-1 3/4. Need to have him on here
Borats Chicken said on 3/Mar/18
Rob, his quote " 6-foot-2, and in shoes" what type of shoes would give him 2 inches boost?
Editor Rob
Big ones!
Bradly said on 2/Mar/18
Played at my high school. 6 flat tops like 40 years ago meeting him a bunch of times.
berta said on 2/Mar/18
he looks to be the same height as peak harrison ford. this is the lowest i argue for him. could be closer to 184 cm. 183,6 is my vote
Celebheights 6'1.5 said on 2/Mar/18
Even if he has claimed to be 6'0", I do think that he does look to be around 6'0 1/4"-6'0 1/2". He was about 1-2 CM shorter than Jerry Rice, who looks to be around 6'1".
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 2/Mar/18
For his honesty I give him a fraction over this. Possibly in the morning he did get measured at that and from there would easily hit 6ft2 range in boots. Maybe he was 6ft1 out of bed...
Borats Chicken said on 1/Mar/18
Rob, possible that 6'0 1/2 was his morning height?
Editor Rob
It's possible before lunch he is over 6ft.
RP said on 1/Mar/18
Steve was once measured at 6'0-5/8" ...he's more 6'0-1/2" than 6'0" even, Rob.
Borats Chicken said on 1/Mar/18
rob, if you have an option to put steves peak height would it be 6'0.25 or 6'0.5?
Editor Rob
Well he only claimed the 6ft, I wonder if he was 6ft 1/2 inch whether he has mentioned it before.
Borats Chicken said on 28/Feb/18
Rob, I found this from nfls hall of fame about steve being 6'0.5

"Notes from an actual scouting report Gil Brandt wrote on Young for Dallas in December of 1983:
Young is 6-0½, 205 pounds"
Editor Rob
It's not impossible, at least 6ft 1 or 2 is impossible though
