Maureen Lipman's Coronation Street character on Ruxandra's Alina tonight:

"She's so small that one sniff of a barmaid's apron would get her bladderred!"

Now you wouldn't say that of a 5ft2-er, unless she was a skinny, flat-chested bag of bones, so I really do think she's 5ft, or barely over it.

Ruxandra gets 5ft and a quarter-inch tip!

I've just compared her to Tyrone again and his 5ft6 looks tall next to her. I noted the shoes they were wearing, Miss Pop in chunkier trainers than Tyrone's flats.

Ruxandra might be 5ft2 - in SHOES!

Described yesterday by her 5ft6 screen husband as '5ft of goddess', I've been thinking over the past few weeks that Ruxandra is far nearer 5ft than 5ft2.

What a terrific addition, Rob, especially as she's playing such a large part of the 'Coronation Street' storyline at the moment. I'm sure I'm not the only person who reckons she's really thoughtless to break up a family with two little girls, but Tyrone is at least as much to blame as he's much older and could have turned a blind eye. Ruxandra plays 23 but is 27, and 28 on the 5th July.

I thought she can't be more than 5ft2; in fact, that's the most I'd have given her, so I'm sticking with that.
