I did give Jay 6'3.5" peak and 6'2.5" now. He look taller in the 90s and might be someone shrunk early in his 40s like Vince Vaughn, Edge and The Rock.

Was gonna say, was watching the movie, JFK again last night, and he easily edges out Kevin Costner by a good 3 inches. I agree though, no more than 6'3.5" prime height.

Editor RobHe could have shrunk by now an inch of course, but back in the 90's, at least with guys like Morgan Freeman he was taller than him in Kiss the Girls. Maybe 6ft 3.5 though.

@Christian: yup just as bad as Michael Phelps being listed 6'4 too. But at least he being an athlete we can tell is a shoe height. I've seen phelps in AC and shook hands with him and was 2" taller than he was. Phelps looks a strong 6'2. No less than 6'2.25 but absolutely not more than 6'2.5 max

6'3.5" at most. He might just be 6'3.5" at peak and i'm not sure he is even 6'3.25" now. I'll go with 6'3.5" for a generous vote.

His 6'4" listing is even worse than Boris Kodjoe's. At least Boris looks 6'3". Sanders doesn't even look 6'2.75"

Rob, have you seen Sanders in the first season of True Detective? He has a couple of scenes, including one with Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, and Kevin Dunn, and another with McConaughey alone. He looked very tall indeed, but I wouldn't say 6'4". More in the 6'2" range, give or take. His scenes as the Reverend Billy Lee Tuttle should be available on YouTube (with minor spoilers). As for JFK, pictures from the set reveal the apparent difference in shoe thickness between him and Costner. I'd be curious to know your thoughts.
