Gabrielle has had TWO parts in Coronation Street, the first one being when she played the sister of Denise Welch.

The actress who plays Gabrielle’s double in Coronation Street is Jane Hazlegrove. (I’ve also seen it spelt Hazelgrove, but the former spelling is more commonly used).

I found 5ft5 for her. She looks much the same height as Gabby, so there will have to be some 🦅eagle-eyed 🦅observations among the Coronation Street/height fans over the coming weeks!

Gabrielle is back in Coronation Street as the copy, or ‘evil twin’ (my eye!) of the Mum, Bernie, of twins Gemma and Paul!

I always thought the two actresses looked dead ringers of each other and once saw them acting together in an episode of Casualty - I think it was that, anyway.

Bernie asked Gabby’s character how tall she is and she said five foot five! 😂😂😂 Not likely, so it looks as though they’re both telling porkies, as Bernie said she was too!

I’ll be back later with the name of Gabrielle’s doppelgänger actress.

5ft2.5. Rowan Atkinson towered over her in Blackadder when she played Bob!

The funny little voice Gabrielle put on - very well, I might add - in Blackadder the Second, pulled the wool well and truly over my eyes that she is a northerner!

I'm now watching Gabby in Classic Coronation Street, and she's playing the sister of Natalie Barnes. I believe Natalie was 5ft4 at the time, and probably still is, and Gabby looks around 1-and-a-half inches shorter, so Rob's 5ft2.5 is spot on! 💐🏵️

I agreed with 5ft2.5 when I watched her in Adders Black but reckoned she was taller as the somewhat bossy but classy Patricia in the Channel 4 soap opera, Side Brook. 😃👌

I just looked up to find that there was a man on 'The Chase' instead of the woman I thought he was!

I thought that, like Bob, the girl had a boy's name, but in reverse. I
saw an anything but effeminate guy, apart from the voice, that is! 😉

Gabrielle gets 5ft2.5. Last time I saw Slack Bladder, I definitely noticed a difference between Gabrielle and Tony Robinson. That was the episode in which Rik Mayall inches in on Blackadder's fiancée, but he doesn't call Edmund Blackadder 'Slack Bladder' until the fourth season, if my memory serves me correctly! (As well as Catpain Black Udder!).

Gabrielle is a new addition to 'Emmerdale'. The other women don't seem to like her very much in this because she is charming and has etiquette and they're worried that she's going to steal their men!

I saw 'Bells' this afternoon, the episode from 'Blackadder II', which is also the first one of the second series of the Elizabethan-based bundle of frolicsome fun! 🔔🐍

I enjoyed it so much that I feel that I'll be seeing it again within the next day, but apart from noticing that Gabrielle IS littler than 5ft4 Baldrick, I also took in that she uses a comical voice for her part, which I'm certain
contributed in throwing me off the scent that she was the very same tastefully-spoken actress as the one who played Patricia Farnham in 'Brookside'. 🔔🐍

Gabrielle can have 5ft2.75 tonight.😀

@ MSJC - Yes, so it is! It took me AGES before I figured out that the very same actress was one and the same as the girl who played the awfully sensible and put-upon Patricia Farnham in 'Brookside', which I used to watch with my Mum! Ah! That takes me back! 😢

When I found out, I could hardly believe it! As 'Bob' she was so deliciously daft, but not as Patricia and neither was she as Debs in 'Coronation Street'! That's what I call a talented little actress and I'm so glad that Rob gave her a page! Furthermore, she is a long-standing friend of the great Ben Elton!

I'm realising that Google aren't the best body of people to believe, certainly from a height point of view! It goes to show that there really IS a genuine need for celebheights.com, and that it offers the only truly reliable service. No wonder the newspapers use you, Rob! 👍😊

Hooray! I'm so pleased to see Gabrielle on celebheights, so thank you Rob - very much!

If she had been the 5ft7 that Google had her written up as, I doubt that Rik Mayall would have been able to sweep her up into his arms with the ease that he did!

5ft2.5 is a fantastic estimate, so I would LOVE to agree with just that!
