I'm sure you can buy them, Lee!
This morning's Saturday Coronation Street omnibus has just finished and, as a special New Year treat, we have an audience with Victoria Wood. She's very funny and at this moment, she's taking the pee out of silly speech and dubious dialects. I love things like that so I think I'm going to enjoy this. 😆
It looks as though I've been missing out over the years. It's really quite rude as well, so I've decided to turn the volume up! 😉

That's a lovely tribute to the comedienne, Lee!
I hope that Dinnerladies is repeated some day; unfortunately, I missed it.
When I think back to my primary school days, my school's dinnerladies were to be pitied! I made a game of wasting my dinners and only ate the afters when we had ice cream!
🍧😋🍦
Then there'd be the kids who would sit and cry if they didn't like their dinners, and what can you say to a crying child?
In the secondary school, we had a snack bar, which sold a monstrous quantity of confectionery. Consequently, many of us grew plump or spotty - and oftentimes, it was both. Before I started there, my older brother told me that the pupils had a choice, so there would be less friction. To stop school meals was indeed a bad move for the youngsters, nutritionally. I started studying the subject of nutrition and food values when I was 15. We were allowed to bring our own packed lunches, which was generally much better. I made my own sandwiches by that age and finished off with a piece of fruit, but the calorific value of my lunch was very low - and I knew it. The protein was minimal too, which I regret to this day because the whole control thing stunted my growth.
Cheers, Lee! 😁🍛

I would have guessed that Victoria was average but it turns out that she was slightly north of that.

What a great idea, Rob! Victoria was a comedy legend - one of a kind.
I had no idea how tall she was so it's good to find out she was 5ft5. It's hard to think that I'm writing this in the past tense, and I had to adjust it. 😢
5ft5.
RIP Victoria XXX 🕯️💐
