In the book 'Becoming Richard Pryor' the author mentioned for a 1959 Army induction the physician "noted that Richard had flat feet and, at five foot ten, was terribly skinny, at 126 pounds"

5'10 seems accurate to me. Gene Wilder was just a smidge taller at 5'10½. They definitely weren't short and could even appear somewhat tall.

Just saw an episode of The Tonight Show from 1983. George Carlin and Richard Pryor were the guests. Pryor came on after Carlin and was wearing flat shoes, no extra heel, and definitely no lifts. He was shorter than Carlin, who was wearing boots, but was also shorter than Carson by more than an inch. I would say Pryor was no more than 5'9", perhaps a touch shorter. In the mugshot scene in See No Evil he appears a tad taller than Gene Wilder who in turn appears to be 5’ 11” - if the scale is correct in the movie. They both have flat shoes on, about an inch at most, so 5’ 10” for Wilder and 5’ 10” and a bit for Pryor.

This is the height his character is credited with in Blue Collar, with Yaphet Kotto credited as 6'5" and Keitel as 5'8". He looked similar to 5'10.5" listed Gene Wilder...loved these guys, disappointed to hear that they were never actually friends off-screen.

After watching a few films with Richard, like see no evil hear no evil, and in that film he was been photographed after been arrested and there is a wall height thing behind him, his looking very close to 5'10 but with out footware on and his big hair lol he was a good 5'9.......

Seriously? Glenn Benton is no more than 5'9". I met him when I was a teenager, and at 6'0" I was a few inches taller than him. The Hoffman brothers (guitarists) were more like 6'0" or more, though.
Also, Satyr (as well as Ihsahn) is more like 6'0" to 6'1" in flat shoes.

As for their old guitarists, Chris Broderick is a confirmed 6' 1'' (maybe slightly taller), Steve Smyth looks 5' 9''ish, Tim Calvert is 6', not sure about Pat O'Brien.

Both guys have rather short legs and they are kinda bulky. That's why they might look shorter. Of course pics etc aren't the best way to judge heights. 5'7'' for both of the brothers.
