See him very often in my local high street and when standing next to him or passing him he is about an inch taller than me, and I stand at 186cm, so he is 188cm exactly i’d say. And used to be 189cm.

A big 6ft2 would imply 188-189cm which we've established he isn't quite anymore. But 187-188cm or a weak 6ft2 looks about right now

I find it hard to believe he has been 11.5 stone all his life. We are about the same height and even when i did marathon training running around 80 miles a week and looking gaunt and stick thin i was still a stone heavier than him at 12.5!

Looks more likely now, Judy I think is most likely 5 ft 4 range but might be wrong, it's difficult to see a legit 189 now next to her. He did look it peak though.

Editor Rob: he was supposed to have measured a fraction over 6ft 2, from what he claimed in one of the This Morning shows.

Yes but he's 61 now and looks like he could have lost a bit from peak, I'd be surprised if he still measured 189 barefoot. He's looking nearer 6'1.5 now to me.

It is very light for 6 ft 2. Djokovic is 12 and a half stone, a stone heavier than Madely and he's extremely fit and toned and active. I wouldn't have guessed Madely that light.

He's a bit full of himself and my god does he cracks me up, especially when he's trying to be serious (e.g. his views on the Iraq War in 2003).

But he still looks a solid 188cm at least and probably hasn't lost height.

This BBC article says Leslie is 6'4"! He claimed 6'5" on This Morning a good ten years ago numerous times I think and always looked it, if anything he could look 6'6" from what I remember.

John Leslie with Catherine Zeta back in I'd guess the late 80s- c.1990. Zeta looks more Latino than ever! She's probably in heels too. Every bit of 6'5".

I don't know if anybody has noticed but when he is dressed casually he closely resembles Pat Cash. There's almost something Australian about him, especially the clothes he wears in public and his Aussie mullet type hair.

@ Theo. He wears boots a lot Timberland type boots which may give 1.5"-2 inches. I've seen pictures of him in them and thought he looked 6'3"-6'4" range in them. He's a clear 6'2" and I think he would measure close to 6'2" last thing at night too, maybe a smidge under.

Today (20th December) he mentioned his height again. They had a 12 year old on the show. Richard mentioned that this boy looked very tall for his age and asked him how tall he was. The kid grew up in France so gave his height as (165cm) rather than in feet/inches. Richard thought about this and reckoned it converted as 5'10"!!!! . Then he asked the kid to stand up and said that he's 6'2". They compared heights and it was obvious that Richard towered over this young 5'5"/5'6" kid.
