5'11.25 probably for a chunk of the afternoon so that's a fair enough mark to leave him on, though I couldn't rule out a flat 5'11 given his posture and eyelevel tilting abilities. Assuming similar footwear certainly a comfortable 5'11.5 is hard to see with someone like Denisof who is 6'0.5 at best.

I was just watching the 65th Emmys bit he did with Jimmy Fallon and was thinking about this - there's no WAY he's even close to the 6'1" I'd seen on google. I always thought that seemed wayyyy too tall for him given how he stacks up on a lot of things he's been in - he's not even 6 foot. The most I could see him as would be, flat feet, 5'11", maybe even 5'10.5", because despite Jimmy Fallon being listed as 6'0", Fallon is ALSO not a legitimate 6'0" man. In the "who is who" video he did with Jimmy Kimmel, who is if we're being generous maybe a hair over 5'11" and possibly less yet Google claims is 6'1" (uh, no...not even remotely close - that's like me at 6'2" claiming I'm 6'4 or more) ....Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel are for all the world height twins. I'd say 5'10.75" sounds more fair for him, but I can't BELIEVE how many male celebs are being listed on google as 6'1" or 6'2" when they're so very clearly not. It's really weird when you consider a 6'2" man is taller than 95% of men on earth and a 6'1" man is taller than nearly 90% of men - so why, then, would so very many celebs happen to be 4 to 5 inches taller than the average for men (which according to the CDC is 5'9")? Answer: they're not. They're LYING.
I just find under 6 footers getting listed at over 6 foot really annoying because it warps people's perceptions for those of us who actually legitimately *are* in the "over 6 foot" club. SO many 5'11" guys claiming 6'0" to 6'2" and it's ridiculous. I'd never claim to be 6'5", which is basically the same level of exaggeration - slightly less actually relative to my height than a 3" exaggeration is to a 5'11" guy.

For more on Jimmy Fallon struggling to even hit 5'11", I draw your attention to the standup bit he did with Seth Rogan, who is listed here at 5'11" and who also looks to be edging Jimmy out despite Jimmy being slightly closer to the camera. In fact, 5'11" Seth Rogan appears to have a solid INCH on Jimmy Fallon here. I can't imagine how anyone could see anything near 6'0" in him.

NOW. Back to NPH and the Emmys...look at how 6'4" Conan absolutely DWARFS him. That's a solid 5+ inch height difference at least. Especially since Conan is not standing at his full height AND Neil is in the foreground (looking possibly a half inch shorter than Fallon in the process).
I can tell you, a 6'0" or especially 6'1" man does NOT look that tiny next to 6'4". While we're at it, let's take a look at Kimmel's massive heels he has in those shoes. In fact...those look suspiciously like hidden lift shoes I've seen peddled online.

Now, I'm not saying that any of them are short. THey're not. That's a perfectly respectable height for a man and is nearly 2" taller than the 5'9" average. But the 6'0"+ lie has to stop with celebs. Know who is ACTUALLY over 6'0"? Jim Parsons. I'd give him a legitimate 6'1". HE actually looks it.

I think these listings for NPH and Radnor are pretty accurate. NPH standing in between 181 and 182 centimeters and Radnor a bit shorter. Oddly, neither of them really strike as weak six footers, they both give off more like a 5'10 impression. They don't really look to have "tall-ish" builds at all.

correction from my side : in an episode of how I met your mother Ralph Macchio is starring and I compared them ...since Macchio has a pic with rob and seems to be around 174cm I dont see much chance for neil patrick harris being as tall as 182cm to be honest . there was just not enough difference between macchio and harris to justify it . I think nph is about 180cm maybe 181cm max. also Mike Tyson was barely shorter than him too .

I'm sure you could get an estimate wrong by as much as 2 cm in some cases if you don't know too much about that stuff - which thankfully you do ;)

Agreed with dmeyer on Eastwood. I met him and worked with him on a scene in Flags of our Fathers and he appeared 6'1" tops. I was surprised because he was always said to be this extremely tall guy. He must've lost some height but he was 184-185cm in 2005, no question.

Sometimes can look 5'10"...no more than 5'11". I don't buy 6'0 for him. I've read that he wears lifts, but that's hearsay. He's very slender(small boned) which can be misleading with his height.

I'm a solid 6' tall, I must say when I'm out walking around the call or the club I tend to notice that I'm taller or as tall as 90% of other guys, I could only imagine What 6'4" would be like, as far as NPH I wondered this in the first place because in HIMYM I saw him standing next to Jason Segal and noticed he only had a few inches on him, then in another scene he REALLY had a few inches, it shocked me because he seems like a small statured shorter man like Ted, but I would estimate a solid 5'11.5" with no shoes, the shoes I'm wearing right now are just an average pair of Adidas and I measured myself in and out of them and they are giving a 1.25" lift, some shoes are more and some are less

Check out 6'1.5 Chris Klein standing next to him in American Reunion. NPH is probably only a half inch shorter. It's unlikely that only one of them would be wearing lifts during a random scene for a film. I'd say NPH is closer to 6'1 than 6'.

I agree he does appear 6´1" in that picture, but in comparison to 5´9.75" Kal Penn and 5´11"ish (give or take) Josh Radnor, he looks spot on 5´10.5" to me.

I agree with MBH. His frame helps him a lot. I think his weight is around 160-170lbs. A barefoot listing of 6ft + is too high in my opinion. His frame and comparison to other people suggests a range of 5´10" - 5´11".

He´s obviously in the 5ft 10in - 5ft 11in range, I don´t fully buy the 6ft claims, not untill I see some barefoot pictures of him with proven, legit 6 footers anyway. My opinion for now is 5ft 10.5in (179 cm) for NPH, perhaps 5ft 11in (180 cm).

That is exactually right, he is an average tall male, not that 183 cm is tall, but 178-180 cm is not small either. But I dont see the point in argue of other peoples hieghts over the internet, when you dont know them, or have seen any barefoot pictures of them. For instance, i tryed on my frineds 14 cm costum boot last year, I was 178 cm at the time, so they made me look 192 cm tall (!).
You can never know what type of shoes these celebs are using, so dont post pictures where you cant see footwear. If someone can show me a picture of a barefoot NPH, proving he is this height, then I will gladly listen.

My best friend Michael, who is 6´1", 6´3" with his shoes, and whom I trust with my life, saw NPH at a restaurant in New York a couple of weeks ago. We both agreed beforhand, that he looked around 6´1" on HIMYM, but Michael said that he didn´t look taller than 5´11.5" in the restaurant, and that was with his shoes on. He concluded that NPH couldn´t really taller than 5´10", which is something I have suspected for quite a while now.

I met up with Neil and David Burtka in June last year, they are so cute together, but they both lie about their height as far as i´m concerned. I consider myself a tall girl, as I am a flat 5´9". If you put a 5´10" guy next to a 6´4" guy, the top of the 5´10" guys head will be in the region of the 6´4" guys eyes or nose, depending on facial structure and posture etc, and both NPH and Josh Radnor is around that mark, 5´10" to 5´11", it looks pretty clear to me.

I was wearing vans and he seemed to have regular shoes as well. This listing is off, and that is something I have experienced for real, if he ever claimed 6'1" or anything in that region, he should be ashamed. Something between 5'10" and 5'10,5" is reality for this guy, let's say 5'10,25", 178 cm.

In the Tony's, dancing with Hugh Jackman, NP Harris looked at least 2 1/2 to 3" shorter. Since, Jackman is scraping 6'-2" (and probably a bit under), I think this makes Harris about 5'-11", which is what I would have guessed for him.

He needs a downgrade for sure. His elevated shoes and way of keeping his chin up and back streight does not fool anybody. 177 cm, almost 178 cm is his barefoot height, trust me. It looks uncomfortable keeping your back streight and chin up like that 24/7, but he is still awesome!

He has major height issues, much like Justin Timberlake. 5´11" is a max, and even that seems generous. 5´10" (177-178cm) is his actual height, i would say.
