Weirdly from one shot to the next, Mazurki goes from looking 1.5 inches taller than Cooper to appx 2.5 inches taller, could be footwear but more likely is posture, angles and such. Don't often see Cooper towered over in his films!

Check minute 54. Mazurki absolutely towers over Gary Cooper

A bit surprised as I thought this guy would be a solid 6'5"...I wonder if he'd really be edged out if he stood off against Rory McCann, who actually looks a bit like him.

Mike appeared in the final season of "Batman" when he was 60 years old, and was the same height as his fellow "henchman", 6' 5" Cliff Osmond. Cliff was nearly thirty years younger than Mike.

OH, OK GONZALO, THANKS! BUT WHY THE CAP LOCKS?

IN THE UNCONQUERED HE TOWERED OVER GARY COOPER. I GUESS HE WORE LIFTS IN THAT FILM TO LOOK EVEN MORE IMPOSING

@Arch Stanton: 7'1" is essentially one of the 'outlier' heights being 5-6 standard deviations (depending on the era talked about) above the average. John Aasen is proof positive that these sort of 'outliers' height-wise existed well before recent decades. Given that, it still doesn't contradict the fact that in general, Mazurki's height isn't as uncommon today compared to several decades back.

Chris you should check out 7'1 John Aasen in the 1920s!!

Rob can you add The Devil's Henchman, Nightmare Alley, Ten Tall Men, Blood Alley, Cheyenne Autumn and Donovan's Reef?

Thanks, yeah somewhere around that 6'5" mark genuinely looks right. Can you add The Devil's Henchman, Nightmare Alley, Ten Tall Men, Blood Alley, Cheyenne Autumn and Donovan's Reef?

Wow, 6'4.75" for the 1940s is like seeing an American man 6'6.75 today, very tall (though to be fair the former height is still quite tall, but it's not as unheard of these days).
