British Tv presenter. Quoted in Birmingham Post saying "I'm 5-9" although on twitter mentioned "I'm a healthy size 10 5ft 8 and half". She also mentioned her shoe size "I'm a 5 1/2 [UK]". She also revealed she has no idea of her weight: "I don't know what I weigh because I never get on the scales. But I am a size 10 all over and I go by what fits me rather than what I weigh."

Though google imaging her she looks just perfect as she is in most pictures. I've only seen ones of her in the last few years without make up and exercising and always thought she looked a bit too thin.

Yes, but like Angelina Jolie and others would look better 15-20 pounds heavier. You can see the East asian heritage in her, she looks part Vietnamese, though Burmese grandmother I believe.

She's always been slim but it's more last 5 years or so she's been looking a bit gaunt. I would guess she overexercises at times, really pushes herself and watches what she eats.

I know she's tall, but even so she's always looked far too thin to me. I recall seeing her in "The Vault", wearing black slacks and a black sleeveless top, running up stairs. The backs of her upper arms looked puny!
Most telling though are those vertical lines she's always had at either side of her mouth, very visible in the photo above. Even when she was younger she had them. That's a sign that her face is almost certainly too thin, meaning the rest of her probably is too! We in southern Scotland would say that her "jaws are clapped in!"
If you think I'm wrong, look at Karen Gillan, Alex Jones, and Jenni Falconer: all tall, slim women, but with healthy looking faces and nice round cheeks!

Melanie was standing next to my 5`10" wife yesterday and she was about an inch taller than her in heels (Mel, NOT my wife who was wearing training shoes). I would reckon that 5`9" sounds about right then.
