Fonsi is very conscientious about his height. He does the tip-toe trick for the majority of his photo-ops. If he’s doing a premier or a “carpet” event, he’ll probably use lifts or big heels. Barefoot he is probably closer to 5’6” than 5’7”.

Editor Rob I'm not sure if he does, but a certain percentage of people do wear lifts/elevator shoes...the fact there are 100+ companies around the world who sell lifts/elevators shows us that a percentage will be lift-wearers.
Personally, I don't care if someone chooses to wear them or not, if it helps them feel better, go for it...the only thing is, that wearing concealed lifts rather than a big cowboy boot, makes it a bit harder to guess height. 😎
