Rob check on youtube the 1983 Oscar video he receives from Christopher Reeves. Mr Reeves was about 2 inches taller. Also very clear that Reeves is built larger overall.
6'4 and 6'3 is impossible. The video is clear evidence.

i think 190 cm peak. he was a couple m shorter than dolph. today he is 6 foot flat. about 7 cm loss. i guess its within normal range for a 82 years old man. Maybe 5 cm is more average at that age?

well that is what rampage is meaning. in the photo he is listed 2 inches shorter than peak but rampage think he is almost 3 inches under peak now. meaning that he could be little over 6 foot by now. wich is probably about right. lost almost 1 inch since the photo.

In Diggstown, Gossett looks to be dead even in height to Rocky Pepeli, who was once a pro boxer, listed at 6'3". Doubt Gossett was ever 6'4" but definitely at least 6'2"

I don't think he's ever been over 6'2, in fact 6'2 is generous. He didn't look it An Officer and a Gentleman. Vincent D'Onofrio is near to 6'4 with 6'0 max Lee Ermy. Louis doesn't look that tall.

I've just seen Lou in 1971's "Skin Game" with 6'1" James Garner, 5'9" Susan Clark, and 6'4.5" Andrew Duggan. I would estimate him at 6'2.5" way back then. (Garner is not wearing lifts in that movie.)

hey guys, he might have been 6'3.5, sometimes the camera makes you taller, your approximates are based on his relative height when compared to his co-stars, maybe all of them used lifts to make him look shorter in AO&AG.

This guy shrunk big time. Definitely over 6'3" in his prime. I watched his old movie in which he starred with Richard Gere (listed at 5'10"). He made Richard look like a small kid as he dwarfed him completely.

Tall Slim and Trim Gossett. He was definitley 6'4" back in the day. But I think he is now just plain old 6'1". 6'1" and 6'4" is a big difference in height especially to loose that many inches.

I saw Lou Gossett last Thursday night at the Pan African Film Festival. I had met him in 2000 in DC, and he was definitely close to 6-4. But the other night, he is barely scratching 6-1. Someone took a pic of he and James Avery together, and Lou was significantly smaller.
