I love Lily as Misty Day in AHS Coven; what a contrast to the AHS Hotel part she fulfils as Aileen Wuornos in ‘Devil’s Night’, which invites the ghosts of evil executed killers along to a dinner date - YUCK! The only good thing about that is hearing the song ‘Sweet Jane’! 😁👌🏼 That’s one of my favourite songs by The Velvet Underground.

I’m watching AHS Coven and admiring Lily’s make-up. Also, and even more admirable, is her ability to bring creatures back to life, and heal those in need, as she has shown when Taissa and Emma bring the scared-up, sewn-together body of Evan Peters’ Kyle to her.

Now this is what I call a GOOD witch! 🥰💐

I stand very much corrected, for in part 2 of the 'Medium' double episode, we see that Lily's character, Joanna Wheeling, is herself part of the kidnapping plot.

Her angelic appearance deceived me totally and utterly! 👼

The double helping also stars Angelica Huston, who at 5ft8.5, is a touch taller than Lily, but Angelica's character DOES wear heels, making her appear more than just half-an-inch taller than Lily, whose part doesn't involve her to glam up at all!

I'm watching Lily playing a young kidnap victim in 'Medium' Season 4, episode 9. What a contrast to the part I watched her in the other night, in AHS 'Hotel', wherein she played the coarse, revolting, head-tossing killer Aileen Wuornos, dancing to the Velvet Underground song, 'Sweet Jane', with serial killer, Richard Ramirez.

I can't see Wuornos being a very graceful dancer, like Lily is! 🤢🤮

I've just spotted on my phone a teaser picture of the up-and-coming new American Horror Story. 👏 Lily stands in the front with her blonde locks all lovely and curly and not far away stands Emma Roberts, looking quite tiny next to Lily! Now I'm getting a craving to see AHS 'Coven', which features both the actresses and many more sensational stars besides. The thing I like about it so very much is that the coven of lady witches use their powers to do good. 😄👍 We meet them again in AHS 'Apocalypse', (Season 8) which cleverly incorporates several previous Seasons.

No less than 5ft8 for Lily.

What an exciting surprise I had last night! I found the lovely Lily Rabe starring in an episode of Patricia Arquette's 'Medium', playing alongside another girl of the same sort of height as Lily is, and the same hair length, only in brunette.

This is a two part episode, and the rest will show on Monday at 9 pm on CBS Reality, if you live in the UK. There haven't been any opportunities to compare Lily with Patricia yet; hopefully, that will all change in part two! 👱‍♀️💐

@ Littlelee and anybody else who is interested.

We chatted last year about the height (5ft4) of Eileen Wuornos, who was played by 5ft8 Lily Rabe in AHS 'Hotel' and 5ft10 Charlize Theron in the feature film 'Monster'. Wasn't Richard Ramirez OKA 'The Night Stalker' also in that ghostly episode of 'Hotel'? If anyone knows, I thought it would be you, Lee; mind you it's due a watch by me - and the sooner the better! I just read his height was 185cm.

Not only did I inadvertently find out his height, for I just discovered a really weird coincidence! Both these serial killers were born on Leap Day, Wuornos in 1956 and meeting with her death in 2002, and Ramirez was born in 1960, dying in 2013.

Now isn't that strange?

Lily did the evil man-hater full justice, with her sloppy manner and shoddy appearance. What a contrast to the beautiful, sensitive Misty Day from AHS 'Coven'!

The lovely Lily turns 37 today. Having only just discovered how brilliant this enigmatic acting talent really is, by watching her in American Horror Story, I can honestly say that she is definitely one of my favourites in the whole seven Seasons that it has been a joy to watch.

I am particularly fond of Lily's part as Misty Day in 'Coven'. She can't stand any abuse to animals, and firstly you see her bringing a slain crocodile back to life, which then turns on one of its killers and has him for lunch!

Then you see a snippet of her back in high school, and she keeps bringing an experimental frog back to life! Good for her! If only I had those powers....

No Sandy, Sarah is definitely no taller than 5ft 6 same height as Alison pill in the cult series though sometimes seemed a bit taller due to thicker footware than Alison. And 3 or so inches shorter than Evan Peters

Things are getting so much clearer the second time round with 'American Horror Story'. The Seasons ARE intertwined, and what threw me the first time was the same actors playing different parts.

Lily has a bit part in 'Coven', playing the same role as she plays in 'Asylum', but before she becomes possessed after the failed exorcism on the 17-year-old boy, interviewing Pepper's liar of a sister, who has high social standing, believing her jargon about the baby murder/mutilation and admitting little Pepper. Due to her own purity, she can sense Pepper is innocent. Lily really does tower over the 5ft Naomi Grossman, who, because of the way she walks, does come over as smaller.

I don't regret going for 5ft8 again yesterday, but I am beginning to think that Sarah Paulson might be a bit taller than a flat 5ft6.

WHAT a contrast in her acting in the second Season of AHS! Firstly, she plays a nun who's as pure as the driven snow, and then, after a boy of 17 is exorcised by an inexperienced preacher, and dies, Lily's character faints - and the devil takes over her body. It is then that all hell breaks loose, demons having knowledge of people that your average person doesn't, but then they aren't people, are they? 😠

Lily's nun then indirectly taunts Jessica Lange's nun about an RTA that occurred 15 years ago, resulting in the guilt that drove her to become a nun. (The girl in the hit-and-run perished at the scene, and was left by a drunken Jessica, who had previously been a strawberry blonde nightclub singer.)

Lily now wears blood red lipstick and gives Arthur Arden (James Cromwell), the come-on. Nobody looks tall next to James, but there have been opportunities a-plenty to see that Lily is 5ft8, or possibly an eighth of an inch under or over.

She gets 5ft8. 👍

Blimey Lee! That's verging on the petite side!

I guess Hollywood chose tall actresses to play her because it was far more convincing that she was as strong as an ox! It must have been all that pent-up anger that gave her the superior strength. Personally, she could have used it to much better effect, if you ask me!

PS: I used to be called 'Littlesand'.

PPS: Now that I've finished the Season Seven of AHS, I am watching it all over again, from Season One. It's the best thing I've ever seen.

Season Eight comes out in England on the 26th August, my German Uncle's birthday. Needless to say, I'm going to make sure that my copy arrives on my doorstep on that very day! 😉

Lily, usually beautiful, is unrecognisable playing Aileen Wuornos in AHS 'Hotel'! She's not quite as tall as Charlize Theron, but I have no idea how tall the real Wuornos was.

She portrays all the mannerisms perfectly. Ooh - Wes Bentley just head-butted her! Run, boy, run! She's dangerous! She carried out her seven killings in less than a year - arghhh! 😮
Lily is one amazing actress, flitting from the part of a beautiful nun in AHS 'Freak Show', a bit part, to THIS!

On episode 12 of The Whispers, she's wearing low boots and when she stands besides Milo Ventimiglia they're about the same height. 5' 7.5 - 5' 8 seems like a coherent height for her.

I've make a mistake it's not near 4" heels lilly rabe wear with barry sloane but almost 3" heels so she can be somewhere 5'7.25 - 5'7.5 but not over. Sarah Paulson listing is correct

Heres the link below. 5'8 Lilly Rabe had a really high heels 3.5 to 4" and standing next beside 6'2 Barry Sloane who were standing on a lower ground. Lets ignore the ground they stand and do a math. Lets say Lilly Rabe heel were full 9cm 3.75" added 5'8 = 5'11.75 but she still look 6" shorter than Barry Sloane compress down her hair volume.

5'11.75 + 6" = 6'5.75 Barry Sloane height with dress shoes , if minus off the roughly 3cm dress shoes Barry is still huge at 6'4.5 barefoot which is impossible to all of us and i believe Barry Sloane look at most 6'2.5 barefoot.
See if Barry Sloane is 191cm 6'3.25 with dress shoes minus 6" therefore she is no taller than 5'9 with that 3.5 heels and barefoot 5'5.25

Lilly Rabe real height should be 5'6 to max 5'6.5 not 5'8 if Barry Sloane is 6'2.5 and Sarah Paulson real height would be 5'5 to max 5'6 she look at most an inch shorter than Lilly Rabe

Remember Barry Sloane was standing on a lower road ground than Lilly Rabe. 5'6.5 max is generous since Barry Sloane wasn't get any upgrade by rob
