@ Sandy Cowell - Absolutely! Those heels of Lauren's really must be very heavy as must her shoes in general! Someone would burn a heck of a lot of calories by going for a three mile walk in such heavy footwear!
So some kids called you "Big Foot", what about "Big Shoe"! Ha ha! I am not sensible now and I wasn't when I was 16 or 17!

@ Nik - It's not so much the heel height, but the heel weight! I used to have two pairs of very high wedge, one in black and one in tan. They were extremely comfortable, so I used to go for three-mile hikes in them! Some kids used to call me 'Big Foot'! I was 16 and 17 at the time, so of course I considered myself grown up! In many ways, I was more sensible than I am today...😂😂😂. 🤔
The shoes weighed one heck of a lot, so I considered it quite a bonus for calorie-burning purposes!
