I’ve seen him close up in a bar in real life and there’s no way he’s 5ft 8. He’s noticeably tiny, maybe 5ft 6 range. (Like the other real life witnesses have posted on here)

@ Christopher height - I can believe that for the sort of time they are covering on Classic Emmerdale, which is 2001, when Kelvin was a young boy, with a squeaky, boy's voice!

Nowadays, he's the full 5ft8.

I saw him last year in Manchester, I was stood behind him waiting to order a juice, I am 5ft 7 3/4 and I towered over him, I was stood behind him for several minutes, from what I remember he had trainers on, if I was to guess, he’s 5ft 5 maybe shorter, having him as 5ft 8 is amusing when you actually see him in real life, seemed like a nice bloke though.

I was watching Strictly Come Dancing and his partner Oti Mabuse (who is 5ft 4in) was in those dancer's heels, which are maybe 2 or 2.5 inches high, and she was practically the same height as him, and he was wearing Cuban heels which would give him a boost too. I think he could well be 5ft 7in rather than 5ft 8in.

Yes Nik but then theres actor ash palmisciano who plays matty Barton who I believe is 5ft 6 at best in fact natalie robb can seem taller than him even though hes way overlisted at 5ft 8

I didn't know Kelvin was a keen racing driver, but as soon as I saw that face, I recognized him as a seasoned member of the Sugden clan in 'Emmerdale'!

Shorter than many of the male 'Emmerdale' actors, past and present, I'll go for 5ft8! 😁
