Cont....
The affair ends abruptly when Shaun Dooley runs Jane's and her husband, Arthur's daughter, Katy, over when he takes his mind off the road, staring in through Jane's window and reminiscing, putting the little girl gravely ill in hospital. 😢
As Inspector Morse once said in the episode 'Greeks Bearing Gifts', "First there's pleasure - then there's payment." This is one such example.
Both families suffer, but when Shaun's Peter gets off the charge for having shown remorse, Jane's character, Angela, tells her husband and the wife of Peter, Eileen, about the fling. I felt really sorry for Eileen - she's lovely, and a good Mum to her kids. Anyway, she kicks husband Peter out. Angela's husband, 'good dependable Arthur', who by now I've grown to like and respect, his wife and the three children make a fresh start.

Oh, this is FUNNY! I'm watching Jane's 'The Street' episode, a production by Jimmy ('Cracker') McGovern, which just happens to be the first one ever, and it starts with her having a fracas with her husband. Jane tells him not to swear in front of the children.
Later, when her 'orrible 'usband is at work, Jane is in need of a plummer. She opens the front door and notices Shaun Dooley, a neighbour, inviting him in to help her rectify the situation.
He does more than that, and so starts a steamy affair!
Jane looks no taller than 5ft2. It sure is nice to hear of a girl who's content with being short! 👱♀️💐

Jane's a smashing little actress and I enjoyed her performance in Jimmy McGovern's 'The Street'.
Small, with a tiny build to match, I give Jane 5ft2.

1 stone equals 14 pounds, so that would make her 105 lbs.

She looks 5'2'', sometimes 5'3'' I think and there I'm not suspicious of her footwear. Besides, what is 1 stone in lbs? That'd be interesting. But really, I'd give her the 5'3''.
