Tom Cruise had some lifts on his shoes that put him at about 5'10, which explains he had about 4" difference to 5'6" tolkan

If he was 5ft 4ish in his late 70's, I'd say 5ft 5.5 peak is probable. Seems like a good fit for him.

Talent is not limited by height. It's good that he can get parts in such movies as Top Gun as it allows other not-so-tall actors to be able to perform without height detracting from the story.

Tolkan is such a nice actor and person.
btw he's aged a bit but not as much as many other actors, still a baldy and still very cool (should've been the actor in HITMAN) imo a baldy with an attitude. :D

Editor Rob he was a cool guy yes. I was telling him Cruise himself claimed 5ft 9 back in the 80's but now he's described as 5ft 7 max and the media sometimes have digs about his height. Tolkan just didn't think he was as short as 5ft 7.
