Ewen looks so smart in the above picture! I've never seen him look like this before, but that's what happens when you are associated with a film about junkies, even if it was the best one ever made!
This guy was pretty average for an actor from 'Trainspotting', verging on tallish perhaps. He can have 5ft8 and a quarter from me. I'm sure I noticed him making an appearance in the excellent and challenging Mike Leigh film 'Naked', wherein the main star, David Thewlis, is 6ft3, so Ewen won't have looked in the least bit tall next to him! I'll check that one out folks, and if I'm getting him mixed up with another actor, I'll be back to put things right!

i walked by him yeasturday he seemed 5 ft 8 about 3 in smaller than me the floor was pretty even ,i doubt he is that close to 5'9 mor like in the morning ,i dont think he is quiet 175 cm more like 173 or 173.5 like 5'8.25 but defently no taller than 5'8.5 and like under ,i towered him if he was about 5'9 i wouldnt have towered him, but nothing is impossible

Confirmed by his management resume which gives him as 175cm and 64kg.

Actually, dmeyer I am a working actor in Hollywood myself. I have been working on other things lately, but I still spend a lot of time with Hollywood folks.

this is for mr r i am an extra in movies almost evry day thts my job so i can see actors height bether than anyone else because i see them all day long not like other people who see them just 1 second because in that case you cant realy see their height
