One of my favourite singers. She was always a gorgeous woman but the silver hair in age I think looks even better, looks classier. Very few really have that true star quality, but her, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez and Bonnie Raitt really have it.

The above picture of her is fantastic! The funky silvery blue hairstyle with a few bits of black looks unbelievably good!
When I just looked for her page, I didn't think I would be commenting on her appearance, but I can't keep this in! I was shocked in a nice way! I remember when she played 'Here, There and Everywhere' and she had long, straight light brown/dark blonde hair; this is very different but at least as nice and very 'age- appropriate' for a star of her calibre!
I can see her back in the mid 70's playing her guitar and singing, and she was sitting down. However, a few years after the aforementioned mega-hit, I nosily followed a long-haired guitarist into the same train carriage, and said "Hello!" as I equated long-haired guys with friendliness and rock music. I was myself on my way to a rock haunt where everyone was cheerful and friendly and I thought he might be heading for the same place, just outside Waterloo station!
He was very tall, about 6ft2, and he said that he played in the 'Emmylou Harris Hot Band!'
I found the odd picture in the music press of her and her band members and she did look small in comparison. I'm fairly surprised she isn't an inch smaller, but that's purely by having seen her with her band members in photos, and if the one I met is anything to go by, they were tall!

Is this not the most beautiful woman ever to have walked planet Earth? Age detracts nothing - in fact, she becomes more and more exquisite as the years pass. And as for the voice.............Listen to 'Lonely Street' on the Bluebird album.

Can you also add Tulsa Queen, that's a great song check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bbaz_T6BN3g There's something really warming about her voice to me which hits a certain spot. Well she did seem willowy in appearance when younger, I wasn't sure of her height, it's not on my mind when watching her!!

Rob can you update with a photo and American country singer, best known for songs like "Making Believe", "Together Again", "Love Hurts", "Boulder to Birmingham", "One of These Days", "Beneath Still Waters" and "To Know Him Is to Love". Agreed Lee, looks gorgeous as a willowy brunette when younger and older with blonder/silvery hair. One of my favourite singers.

Emmylou is ridiculously gorgeous, even in her later years. May we all age so well.

Looks like an average height women I'd have said about 5'4" or 5'5", but stunning and one of the best singers!!

Is se really as tall as this? I've seen a few times in concert and she looks 5'3ish actually. She's the same height as Bonnie Raitt when they perform together...not that I'm sure on Bonnie's height either. She was one of the smallest in the 1995 women in country special, which included Patty Loveless, Pam Tillis, Trisha Yearwood and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
