Here, all three except the guy on the left have relatively straight postures. Jesse Rath, in the middle, is straight as an arrow while the, by far tallest, guy on the left is slouching, but David is actually standing up unusually straight here. All there are nearly equidistant from the camera and I'd say that, adjusting maybe half an inch for straightness in posture, David looks about 3 inches taller than Jesse (who is either 5'7&(3/4) 172cm or 5'8 flat (as listed by CH) 172.7cm.

So that would put David at either 5'11 flat or 5'10&(3/4) 179.7cm, depending on Jesse's actual height. 5'11 was my initial guess so I'm gonna stick to it and comparing him to Jesse it looks like Jesse is probably not smaller than 5'8.

He looks about 3-3½ inches taller than Brainy (5'8 or 5'7 and 3/4 according to another source)and when he appears to stand up straight next to supergirl or Alex Denvers (when on flat shoes), both of whom are 169cm according to CH, they reach him to his eyebrows. That indicates a 4" difference in my opinion. And like I said, this is from where he looks like he's standing up straight.
I'm tempted to put 5'10 because honestly that's what he looks like to me on screen (and to lower the ridiculous average from user guesses), but I do believe he may be 5'11 if he stands perfectly straight. But 6f, NO WAY, not even close! Maybe peak height, but long ago.

Looks shorter than Superman on Supergirl, who is listed as 5'11.5" but he does have a slouchy posture and superman has boots

6ft 0.5in is a good shout. He's not standing as tall as he could very often, but still I feel there's a chance he'd measure a smidge lower than Damian Lewis. Although to be honest, 6ft 0.75in could be fair for Lewis, he can look close to the 185 cm mark.

I've been in vacation with him and other friends twice when we were young...he's 183 cms for sure, maybe a little bit more. And is really a good guy.
