Great estimate as usual, Rob. On the Herbie, the Love Bug tv series, I thought Elcar seemed a tad more than half an inch taller than 5’11.5” Dean Jones. Elcar was most likely a very solid six footer, 6’0.25” peak more plausible than a flat six feet. 6’0 1/8” very safe and sensible.
