English actor, best known for playing Marcus Dent in soap opera Coronation Street. In 2014 on twitter he claimed to stand tall at "5'8" EXACTLY !", although in 2016 he gave himself an extra half inch: "I'm 5'8" and a half".

I wonder if it worries him that at 5ft 8in he is at the very bottom of what many consider 'average range' and if he shrinks a bit as he ages, he will move into the 'short range'. I've always found it a bit odd that a man of 5ft 7.5in would be described as short but a man just half an inch taller would be in the 'average zone'. I suppose the cut off point with these arbitrary classifications has to be somewhere though.

Alistair Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, Josh Brolin, Eric Mabius, Tico Torres, Mark Cavendish etc. Yes, guys who are average or even short and you'd expect to be tall.
