He was probably more 6ft2 range in the later years of Summer Wine...

6ft4 barefoot doesn't hold up at all on either Porridge or Summer Wine.

Ok, can we go with 6’2.75” in that case, Rob?
Editor Rob
Watched some of him in catweazel and definitely 6ft 4 seemed impossible, maybe almost 6ft 3 is fair and he once got measured near 6ft4 in shoes.

Ok Rob, how about 6'2.5" then, as you feel Wilde could appear anywhere in 6ft 2-3 zone?
A full 6'3" I strongly believe is out. Funnily enough, his character in Last of the Summer Wine claimed he was John Wayne's height, and even more funnily, when I first watched it, I almost believed it!
Editor Rob
2.5 would be lowest I think I'd argue.

Rob, can Wilde get 6’2.25”?
In Last of the Summer Wine and Porridge, Wilde looked more 6’2” than 6’3”. You could argue a slight shrinkage by then, but I have found no evidence to suggest such, and Wilde was only in his 40s when he started his stint on Last of the Summer Wine.

He could appear anywhere in 6ft 2-3 zone. I ruled out 6ft 4, but not sure just a 6ft 2-2.25 range.
