5 ft 4 and a half seems honest, weight going down to 6 st from drinking and smoking? Usually when it's that low it's drugs or anorexia to blame.

Mmm, Rachel called Anne Mr T the other day and said she "pities the fools", taking the piss out of Anne's MASSIVE goldie lookin chain. The atmosphere between them did seem frostier than on earlier episodes. There has been reports of a falling out and arguing over rooms behind the scenes and things. I personally like the simplicity of Anne and think it's a nice change she's doing Countdown, but I can see why many people would hate her doing it. I think somebody like Stephen Fry would be perfect. Richard Osman would be good too I think, and he's just quit Pointless.

I wouldn't have guessed anything over 5 ft 3 now but she is 77 now. Agreed Sandy, I started watching Countdown again yesterday and disagree with people saying Anne sucks and needs replacing. She's more minimalist and direct, but can be quite funny actually and gives the show more of an edge because she's unpredictable at times. She seems to get on well with Susie and likes her section on the word etymology. Some of the banter on Countdown was always a bit old-fashioned anyway at times I thought, nobody did it as well as Richard Whitely.

Good grief! That necklace Anne is wearing in today's Countdown looks as though she's whipped it from a member of a chain gang!

It's making a pleasant and refreshing change to watch Anne on Countdown, being so nice to people!

What a change from her Weakest Link days!

5ft4.25 peak and 5ft3 today. 😁💐

What a terribly naughty mood Anne is in on today's showing of 'The Weakest Link'.

She just asked a drugs councillor if he 'got off' on watching a person go 'cold turkey' and then he asked the contestant to turn sideways. She said to the red-faced guy, "Are you trying to get a council house in *****" (wherever he lived), because he had a convex stomach, reminiscent of a pregnant woman, followed by "Is eating your hobby?"

She'd previously asked him if he prescribes food to addicts. "No Anne!" he replied politely.

This poor chap deserves to win for keeping it together! 😬😖

5ft4 peak and 5ft2.75 now. She ought to have similarly rude height guesses for her treatment of that contestant. 😝

There was a lady on Anne's Weakest Link today who runs a slimming organisation. Anne asked her how much it costs weekly. The lady replied, "£66 Anne!"

Anne thought it was far too expensive. So did I, until the lady replied that all their food is included.

Now that's GOOD value!

Anne gets 5ft4 for her peak and 5ft2.75 for today. She happens to wear very flat shoes.... 😉

There was a question on 'The Weakest Link' on the Challenge Channel, when Anne asked a woman which sex a Billy goat was. She replied, "Boy!" instead of male.

Anne said, "I'll accept."

Well, I thought it was very sweet indeed! 🐐

5ft4 peak; 5ft2.75 now.

There is so much scope for humour in Anne's quiz show, The Weakest Link, that I think it would be a good idea to have a special showing for Comic Relief, with all sorts of celebrities starring with rude catch phrases.

What I have in mind would DEFINITELY have to be shown after the watershed!
😉😜

Peak height: 5ft4
Now: 5ft2.75

Oh NO! Anne is now picking on a lorry driver and asking him whether he leans out of the window. The poor, unsuspecting driver replies, "Sometimes!"

Then Anne comes out with, "I thought so. Is that where all your hair has gone?" 👴
One day, Anne just might be billed by a contestant for an extra large therapy bill! 🤭💸

There are some super-tall fellas on 'The Weakest Link' today, so Anne's put-downs should be interestingly height orientated. End of round one, and Anne is picking on a young 6ft2 bloke and calling him 'LITTLE'! Furthermore, she's made him say he's little because she says so - and he did!

😂😂😂

Anne gets 5ft4 peak prank height and 5ft2.75 for her current prank height. Yup, she's a prankster alright!

When asked this morning on 'The Weakest Link' which relation the planet Earth is usually associated with, a man replied, "Venus." 😣

The answer, of course, was MOTHER! 🌍

Peak for Anne - 5ft4
Now - 5ft2.75

The guy who was voted off, was called by someone else, 'a good banker'.

My sentiments exactly!

It's 4 in the morning and I thought I'd watch 'The Weakest Link' to see what sort of insults Anne Robinson had ready for her poor, unsuspecting contestants.

I particularly liked the one in which she asked a man, "Where did you get those stupid glasses from - Ireland?"

"No! I got them off the internet," he replied.

Then she asked him, "Did you get your girlfriend off the internet?"
😂😂😂

Peak height - 5ft4
Now - 5ft2.75

I'm been watching Anne's 'Weakest Link' this week and she's had me it utter stitches! Now that I know that Anne is actually of average height, it goes down a bit better that she picks on the guys for their lack of height! She picks on people for any and everything, after all! 😂😉😂

In yesterday's showing, she wouldn't leave one guy alone until he said, "Why do you keep picking on me, Anne?"

I think her treatment of the next guy should have made the aforementioned fella feel a bit better. She said, "I haven't got much to say to you - you're too boring!" 😝🖕

I must say though, the questions are consistently easy, and when the contestants err, I feel a bit like Anne sometimes! 😤

Peak height - 5ft4.25
Now - 5ft2.75

Yes, I've gone up a bit. She wears VERY flat shoes!

🎁💐🎂🎉 Happy Birthday Anne! 🎉🎂💐🎁

Anne Robinson turns three-quarters of a century today. Congratulations to her!

Challenge TV are showing 'The Weakest Link' at 6pm on weekdays, just in case anybody wants a ganders at Anne's height!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really did think Anne was a mere 5ft! 🤔

Anyway, I will give Annie a Birthday guess of 5ft4 peak and 5ft2.5 now. 😁

I watch the weakest link regularly and she`s no more than 5`2". She might even need one of the higher plinths were she to be a contestant.
shanequa said on 30/Jan/09
Clearly shes taller than 5'2. She was on the sunday night project the other night and next to 5'10" alan carr in her 3"/4" heels there was only around 2" between then so i would defo say shes around 5'5"
