You can get away with murder if you're tall, I'm 5ft 8ins. But I went balloony. I've got photos of me, piggy from hell.
A really big person would look at me and be insulted and say: "That's not big". I probably might have reached a size 14 or a big 12 when I'd always been a 10. But I couldn't do my trousers up and I had bulges in places where I didn't want to.

As I did, at one stage, think that Anne Robinson was only 5ft, that could help to explain why I reckoned Alice was around average range.

What a fab surprise 🤭 to find that Alice Beer 🍺 has been allotted a page, and it's every bit as much of an eye-opener to discover that she's all of 5ft8.
I'd never taken this part of her description in, despite the fact that she's appeared in TV quizzes, the ones that involve the contestant to stand next to a ready-made height gage, Bradley Walsh being one such example, from the popular quiz show The Chase.
I have no dispute with 5ft8. Tall parents, perhaps....? 🤔
