Deepika looks to be about 2-3 inches taller than Sonali in that pic which makes sense. Sonali appeared with Tabu in "Hum Saath Saath Hain" and was at least one inch shorter than her whereas Deepika has about an inch on Tabu, Shilpa Shetty, etc.

Thats a nice pic of deepika towering over all those people, but Im sure she was in atleast 4" heels. It kind of adds up cos Sonali Bendre is 5'7" and Im sure she too was in atleat 2" heels which would make her 5'9". Now deepika is abt 4" taller in that pic and that wud put her at 5'8" if u take out the heels. But nevertheless a very nice pic of 2 gorgeous tall girl. Sonali looks so much more better now after she's put on weight at all the right places.

Believe in me Priyanka is just 5.6 inches tall. My being 5.8 on bare foot as mentioned earlier, Priyanka reached just below my eyes when I compared my height with her at airoplane when I was boaridng with the same plane to New Delhi. She told me that,she needs to adjust her height with co-stars like Hritik Roshan,Abhishek Bacchan,John Abrahim by waring 3 inches heels or incase standing on flatform or maintain a distance of half or 1 feet between them to equalise the heights. She further told that she reaches just above the necks of these above actors ,when she is bare feet.

Really throws a lot of light on Esha'a height. considering that Hema Malini is 5'7", i thought Esha too was atleast that height cos they appear the same height when they stand together. Apparantly I am wrong and Esha is quite a shorty compared to her mom & younger sis. Esha's younger sis Ahaana must be 5'8" atleast cos she looks taller than Hema Malini. Sapna, agree that u are very tall for an Indian girl and so is your girlfriend. But just yesterday in Bangalore I saw the tallest Indian girl Ive seen till date. I asked my 5'6" girlfriend to stand next to her and this giantess was a good head taller than my girlfriend which would put her height at atleast 6'2". Not only was she tall but she was huge with extremely broad shoulders and big hips. She would have been in the range of 90-95 kgs easily

who r the 2 anushka's,, how tall r they?? The south indian anushka we are talking abt is 5'9" & very thin (max 60 kgs). When u compare her to namitha anothere south indian actress u will get and idea of how thin anushka is. Thats why its hard to believe that she could so easily carry that male actor. If it was namitha, it was believable cos namitha is abt 5'9" & 85 kgs with broad shoulders and big strong hips and legs

There was a repeat telecast on TV of the Zee Cine Awards held at London. One of the awards was presented by Pooja Batra to Vinay Pathak and she just towered over Vinay Pathak. Now Vinay is by no means a tall guy but Pooja looked just so tall and beautiful. She looks like she's been working hard on that body of hers. earlier she was skinny but now she looks so toned, her arms look muscular and those hips and legs are very toned too. Think she is a taller version of Shilpa Shetty cos she has an equally good body. If Shilpa is 5'8" * 60 kgs Pooja who is 5'11" should be abt 70 kgs

Anushka was very thin before but now she looks good as she has put on some weight and she is tall, as said 5'9" to 10" as in many in south movies she is as tall as heros like Nagarjuna who is about 5'11". To lift teh actor like that shown is not easy. The guy is big 80Kgs+

I agree she must be around 5'11" and she normally wears 2" heels. In the Zee TV show Rock n roll famliy she towered on all the contestents who were just average heights. She never got lose to Ajay Devgan whih the directors avoided showing as she would have been few inches taller than him.

I was watching big boss today, the episode in which monica got evicted and to my surprise she looked only 1.5" shorter than shilpa who claims 5'9 as her height. both were wearing equal heels. now this has put me in dilemma as monica looks no more than 5'6. so is shilpa really less than 5'8 more like 5'7-5'7.5. please clear my confusion people.

@Tambola. it is interesting as I am 5'11" and have seen Katrina in close quarters as she went past me in a theatre in Mumbai and she was in flats and she was atleast 3" shorter than I am. The only way she can look so tall is if she was wearing 6" heels assuming she is 5'8" making her look 6'2".

I have said this again and again - photographs are a wrong way to assess anybodys height. Even Rob says that 90% of photos give the wrong idea, check out 'Photos and Perspective' on the right side of the page. To get the right idea of anybody's height post videos.

Heard the only real amazon in Bollywood Yukta Mookhey got married recently. Hope she doesnt keep away from the limelight cos it will be a real loss for all tall heroine lovers. Saw a couple of pics of her wedding and she was looking just gorgeous, all 6 ft and 85 kgs of her.

@Dragon and Rambo, Kareena's height is very tricky. She herself claims 5'5 but somebody posted on this page sometime back that she claimed to have grown two inches because of power yoga. I did not believe it but she does seem taller now....as for Shahid, well he is 4 inches taller than Kareena so you can do the calculation.....

In the photo posted by Engineer Sush looks 2 or 3 inches taller than Manisha. The camera angle is also not straight. I don't think its a good photo to guess their heights.

A while back i saw Sameera Reddy at an airport with Bipash Basu. Both had flats on and Sameera looked about 2 inches taller then Bipasha! As i went closer, Sameera was indeed a few inches taller. Regarding Karishma Tanna, I might have to alter my guess. I just saw a pic of Karishma's movie "Dosti" and she is standing together with Kareena, Lara Dutta and Bobby Deol. Karishma looks to be about 3" taller than Kareena and also 3" taller than Lara and 1" shorter than Bobby. The strange part is that Kareena appears as tall as Lara (or maybe even slightly taller) but I don't think that is the case in reality. Even still, I think we may have to bump up Karishma into the 5-10 or 5-11 range with Pooja but I strongly feel she will fall short of Yukta.

In the 'Deewangi' song, she is in huge heels and is still about 1" shorter than Shah Rukh. Also, I posted a pic a few months ago of her with 5-8 Zeenat Aman. I am working as a air hostess & my height is only 5 feet 8 inches. I have seen Dia Mirza closely & we both were in flat shoes. Dia herself gave me permission to compare my height with her. Dia reached near to my mouth. A funny thing that she tried to raise her legs to reach my height but hardly reached to my noise level. She claimed hear height is 5 feet & 5 inches & told me that she have to wear high heels or stand on a box to suit her co-star's height.
I am working as a air hostess & my height is only 5 feet 8 inches. I have seen Dia Mirza closely & we both were in flat shoes. Dia herself gave me permission to compare my height with her. Dia reached near to my mouth. A funny thing that she tried to raise her legs to reach my height but hardly reached to my noise level. She claimed hear height is 5 feet & 5 inches & told me that she have to wear high heels or stand on a box to suit her co-star's height.

Yeah, Sushmita is a tough one to figure out. Because on one hand she appeared shorter than both Deepal Shaw and Katrina Kaif, but she has also appeared with Tabu (Filhaal and Biwi #1) and appears about an inch taller. And I have previously posted pics of Tabu with Shilpa Shetty and those two are the exact same height.

Dost - would love to see Pooja batra towering over Tabu cos I always thought Tabu was around 5'10" and appeared shorter cos of her heavy build. Its really amazing how short and tiny Aishwarya looks compared to Yukta.

I was watching a live episode of Koffee with Karan featuring Katrina, Shilpa Shetty as well as Anil Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh. I have to say that Katrina was at least a couple of inches taller than Shilpa Shetty. She towered over Shilpa who was wearing high heels.

Editor Rob it depends on how you describe the heel aswell. Some companies would call a heel that gives say 2.6-2.7 actual inches anywhere from 3-3.5 inch. Some call the height at the very back, others the stem (that is closer to real height you get).

Looking at the Pooja/Yukta pic again, it appears that Pooja is in the background and Yukta in the foreground slightly, so perhaps the difference in their heights is only maybe 1 or 2 inches. So that might put Pooja @ 5-10 and Yukta @ 5-11 or 6-0.

I totally agree with her cos Ive seen her in Bangalore before she shot into fame and she looked only 5'8.5" without heels. Guess she appears taller cos she has such a toned and sleek body

@rupali I agree with your observations as there are other photos of the same event where she is wearing at least 3" heels. sonam is very tall maybe 5'9" or more and in this event she is also wearing atleast 1" to1.5" heels.
Something tells me you are actually taller than 5'8" the way you have described others' height in comparision to yourself!

Rupali, Ayesha Takia is by no means short, she is abt 5'6/5'7" which makes her one of the taller girls in bollywood. mahima tho is a shorty at maybe a max of 5'1". The shortest girl in bollywood is easily Riya Sen who is not more than 4'10", but looks taller cos of her fabulous body. Would be nice to see a comparison betwn the 6 ft, 85kg Yukta Mookhey and the 4'10", 40 kg riya sen

Since we cannot see Kareena's heels its not right to draw a conclusion on her height.

There are other pictures whithout heels where she is 2 to 3" shorter. Ranbir must be between 5'11" and 6'. In the video Deepika is wearing atleast 3" heels and if she is 5'9" she races to 6' and not 6'4". This is what I think

On Aaja Mahi Vay Deepika towered over the hosts and was taller than Ranbir. Im starting to believe the hype regarding her height. And on Dus Ka Dum she dwarfed Salman Khan! She must be in the region of 6'4 with her heels on.

Good photos bollyfan. Sonam is wearing 2 inch heels in these photos. But its confusing, she is shorter than Anil Kapoor in some photos and taller in some. I had seen this on TV and there she had looked considerably taller than Anil, at least 2 inches. I think they are both the same height and here she looks taller because of the heels. So between 5'9-5'10 for both.

@Komal, I saw that too on TV. She really dwarfed everybody around her but she must have been in high heels. In one interview Sonam Kapoor mentioned her height 5'9. I say 5'9 is minimum for her. Maybe she is taller than that but downgrading her height like other tall actresses.
