6ft1 is probably fair actually, no less than 6ft0.75 anyway. Doesn't look less than that next to Martin Clunes at 3min 49

Sometimes I think his longer than average face detracted from his height, making him seem shorter but he was clearly close to 6ft1 on No place like home.

Have my doubts about 6ft1 for Gaunt. Didnt really look that tall in his youth, im sure he wasnt too far from it but if he turned out being 6ft0.5 it wouldn't be surprising.

Got to add to the chorus. Gaunt was tall but I doubt much over 6' unless Stuart Damon was wearing lifts (or Damon's height is incorrectly listed) because there looked to be at least 3" or more height difference between them

Near 6ft1 is fair

Yep, next to Stuart Damon who was just shy of 6'3, he looked a weak 6'ft.

mayfair, 5'11" is just plain wrong, he is 6'1" no doubt unless Roger Moore was never 6'1". He was in an episode of the saint stood together he was if anything marginally taller than Sir Roger

Saw a reunion show for "The Champions" and he said he was 6'1" but still looked like a `little fella` next to 6'3" Stuart Damon.

Ahhh! You can be rest assured the fellow is close to the height of 6' 1" tall.
He is very tall. In shoes I am sure he would be or even a bit over 6'2"
There is no disputing the records of this. He doesn't have to grow any taller
does he Mr Mayfair? *L* And cinemaphotographic angles can be deceptive.
Nothing like the real thing!

I saw him today in Stratford-Upon-Avon and even as a 70 year old guy which he now is he looked about 6 ft tall and, I might add, very nice looking with his mane of white hair for his role as Gloucester in King Lear

He WAS 5.11 when in the "Champions" and I doubt he has grown since then.

Well put him in shoes and that adds another inch or so doesnt it? 6'
You can be that guy is handsome regardless of petty height statements!
He is taller than some.

WILLIAM GAUNT WAS BORN IN APRIL 3, 1937 AND FROM ALL RECORDS HE STANDS 6'1'

I'm sure he was stated as 5-11 at the time of the Champions and he was 29 then.

he could look sometimes that short...
