I've got a secret...I'm only Five Feet Ten...I was so pissed cause it took me decades to love being the tallest in the room. I would love to be Six Feet even. When he [Doctor] told me I was Five Feet Ten I got so upset that I took off my wig...so I'm Five Feet Ten and I weight 160.

But if she was in sneakers then she'd be 5ft 8 range barefoot there, based on what I could work out from the tape.

Wendy seems to look shorter and shorter nowadays especially in the Ask Wendy part of the show where guests are usually her height or a lot taller and she doesn’t wear massive heels anymore. Quite often flats. I would say she used to be 5ft10 and now she’s around 5ft9.

I went to her show a couple months ago. I stood next to her and was shocked by how short she was compared to what I thought. I'm 6'2 and my friend is 5'9'' and was wearing flats as was Wendy and was visibly taller than her.
My guess is Wendy is about 5'7'' and 5'8'' tops.

I am not sure of Wendy's precise height, but she is far from the "tallest in the room." Like you said, Wendy's audience members are frequently taller than her during the "Ask Wendy" segments. Why do so many people feel the need to exaggerate their height? Honesty is always the best policy.

She is just a large woman, what my mom used to call "big boned", but she carries herself well. I would guess her weight to be about 175-180 lbs, but thats cool-it's allowed for women to lie about their weight!

She's a weak 5'9. Adriana Lima was on her show recently and looked around 1 inch taller or more and both wearing same heel. In fact every 5'10 female on her show has been taller than her: Laila Ali, Chanel Iman, Tyra, etc

Great show when she had stars from "My Giant Life" on. She had taken off her heels and was in stocking feet as they came out to meet her. They all towered over her and it was great because she usually makes everyone else look short. She looked positively tiny to them as she tried to hug them and had to get on tip toes. You could tell she felt short because she never asked them to stand next to her after that. Before she asked them to sit down she was in front of the three women and they were all head and shoulders taller.

Editor Rob sometimes the height isn't apparent unless a side-on shot of the heel is seen, but those look just basic 2.75-3 inch range

I can believe Wendy is 5'9" because Krysten Ritter is the same height range and when she was on Wendy they were talking about both of their heights. IIRC they looked about the same height in heels.

She's not 5'10. Solid 5'9 at best 5'9.5". Both Chanel Iman and Tyra Banks who are both a solid 5'10 were on her show were clearly an inch taller than her with same amount of heel. Naomi Campbell is 5'9" and Wendy didn't look any taller than her.
