I saw Wendy in The Blood on Satan’s Claw the other night. I’d read so much about it when I was a kid, but found it quite boring. Wendy looked tiny and very childlike.
4ft11.

Honestly Christian a lot of stuff can affect how your head size is perceived. I have naturally scruffy hair, and when it sticks out my head can look massive. Plus when I grow my goatee out it increases the perceived length of my chin (helps having thick dark hair) making it look like I’m barely a head taller than 5’5 guys

@Chaos
In the 6 years I've been on here, that's the first time I've ever seen anyone mention about how smiling affects chin length. Excellent point.

Yep, this is how a classic 9" difference would look like.
Yeah. I reckon Rob’s smiling plus him maybe having a longer than average chin makes it look like there isn’t 9” between them cause it looks like she’s close to his mouth level

She doesn’t look 5’0 with you. Best case she’s similar to Terri Runnels, who you have under 5’0. Worst case the average guess is right. So 4’11 is good middle ground

The average guess is only 4'10.64"? That's too low. But on the other hand, I can't see her at a solid 5'0" either. More like 4'11.25"

Wendy has faired very well indeed. She still looks rather girlish, which is indeed a compliment!
There should really be two boxes by now, I think. Although Wendy still looks appreciably younger than she is, that doesn't mean to say she won't have lost any height.
She can have 4ft11 this time round, though I don't doubt 5ft for her peak.

In this photo, Wendy looks no taller than 4ft10.5, but I can believe 5ft for her 'Doctor Who' days, which dated right back to my early, homework-free childhood days!
Those days, kids never had homework until they started senior (secondary) school.
4ft10.5 for Wendy now, but 5ft for her peak height.

She needs a peak and a current listing. She's shorter than 5'0" next to Rob.

Rob, is 5'8 your barefoot average height? I'm kinda confused after reading some of the comments below.
Editor Rob
I usually measure at my low just a little over 5ft 8.
Canson said on 23/Mar/18
@Rob: you never hit a full 5’9 out of bed have you?
Editor Rob
On the best day very close...of course on the older stadiometer with extra 1/8th, I did on a few occasions get 5ft 9...
I'd say my real maximum high is more like 5ft 8 7/8ths, but my usual range is more 5ft 8.75.

I think that Wendy is nearer to 4'11"!

Compare this photo with Shirley Henderson's. Shirley is listed as 5ft. This woman is 10-15 cm shorter.

Another of Doctor Who's assistants who was travelling in the Tardis with Patrick Troughton, who went on to star in the Hollywood film 'The Omen' and many moons later, the very first episode of 'Inspector Morse'!
I tell you, if I was Wendy, I'd have been proud to have worked with him, and not a little boastful! Hee hee!
I didn't expect Wendy to be very tall for some reason, even though I was a tiny kid when she was in 'Doctor Who' - and that is because I thought that she was an older little girl, but a child nonetheless!
She gets 5ft from me!
