I actually saw Vinnie up close a few months back and he looked I felt 6ft1.25 or even 6ft1.5,but, he had no less than 1.5 inch style shoes on. So about 6ft1 today is fair I think. Whether he scraped 186 peak, who knows but 6ft1 flat is fine too.

Saw a picture on the Daily Mirror website a while back. Vinnie Jones stood back to back with former teammate Mick Harford, both wearing boxing gloves. Harford is usually listed as 6'2" and has a clear 2" advantage over Jones

There's something more than a little unnerving about travelling on a desolate tube train in the dark, and huge Vinnie played his menacing part so well that my brother had a nightmare after I showed it to him!

I thought the Big V was taller than 6ft1 to be honest. Aha - we have yet another Birthday coincidence. The other major actor from this film is Bradley Cooper, who was born on Vinnie's 10th Birthday! 🤭

I am an actor and worked alongside vinnie on the set of redirected ,in lithuania and over dinner we all was talking about heights how tall we all where , it was debated on how tall.he thought he was ans how tall he actually was measuring up to somone who is 6'1 and he was a clear 2 inches taller , to vinnies suprise hes was arou d 6'2.5 and thts with my own eyes .

I agree that Vinnie looks a solid 6ft2 in the film 'Lock, Stock....' and whether he is in built-up shoes for the role is indeed worth investigating!
Have you seen the film 'The Midnight Meat Train'? Vinnie also stars in that, and is truly menacing! He is not the chief character though; that role is played by Bradley Cooper. Yet he comes over as very tall because he is playing an evil predatory part, and there is no way he'd have got the role if he hadn't been a height that is well over 6ft.
Having said that, I am wondering if this is the ideal film to check out his true height, as this is undoubtedly a film which, if extra shoe height is called for, it would be allowed for this!
See it if you like horror films with a twist, for it is definitely a superior film of its genre! Come to that, I have only seen Vinnie in violent films rated 15 and 18, but I do recommend this as one of his better ones, not that I've seen him in anything crappy yet!
Today Vinnie is getting 6ft1 and a quarter from me.

I'm more inclined to go for the 6ft2 that he admits to being. He looks very tall in 'the Midnight Meat Train', though there aren't many others to compare him to in that film. I can't see him as 6ft1, no way! I'd give him 6ft2.5 before I'd go along with 6ft1, so 6ft2 it will be!

There are two old Wimbledon FC collector cards which both list him at 5-11, and one which has his weight at 11st 10lbs. In the famous Gazzapic if you look closely he does indeed not look much taller id say 3" at most, id believe 6' but not anywhere over, i think because hes a thin framed guy he appears taller on screen

i worked in a bank in watford many years ago when he was still a footballer. im 6'3 and he was pretty much the same height when speaking with him. Hes not a big a build as he looks on tv,,so he is tall unless he shrunk in the last 14 years

@Rickie: I'm not familiar with him being measured on BIG BROTHER. If that's the case, then that's the case. The man always looks tall onscreen and doesn't look like he wears lifts in his films. In MEAN MACHINE and in the Guy Richie films he's done, he always looks tall--minimum 6'1", close to 6'2" territory.

Just watched SNATCH this evening. Standing next to 6'1" Dennis Farina in several scenes, Vinnie had at least an inch. 6'2" is spot on for Vinnie--he's a tall guy, and he looks it. His build is similar to his co-star Benicio Del Toro--also 6'2".

In Submerged and in the most recent smoking aces film he did not look over 6'0 to me....... but then again he did kinda tower over Ross Kemp in Extras without any effor so maybe he is over 6'0? Ross Kemp is listed as 5'10 although some say he is 5'9.

Anyway Vinnie never really looks 6'2 (188cm) at all in his films just a bit above average in height.

I estimate a 186cm-187cm for him.

Think 6'2" is spot on for Vinnie, he is a big guy. Regarding the comments people have made about footballers heights on this thread and others I can tell you they are definitely often wrong, usually on the small side. A player for my team Everton for example, Duncan Ferguson, has been for years listed as 6'3" however the manager confiremd 2 years ago that they measured him at 6'5". Athletes in particular continue to grow I think. Sky TV pundit Chris Kamaras career stats list him at 6'1" but i met him at York racecourse last year and got a pic with him. He is EASILY 6'3", more likely 6'4". I am 6'1" and he towers over me. Don't trust the stats trust your eyes I say!!

It is funny that he's playing the giant Juggernaut in X-Men, since around the time that they were doing Swordfish, Hugh Jackman looked slightly taller than Jones. Only in Hollywood would a guy probably 6'2" or under (Jones) be playing a 7' foot tall character in the same movie as a guy that's nearly 6'3" (Jackman) playing a character who originally was supposed to be 5'3".

Seeing ive been using the Rove live sight alot ( go to Click Here) , I found a pic of Rove (5'8") and Vinnie, and Vinnie looks easily over 6'0" tall. So if you want to see it, go to 'galleries" then 2002 guests, and youll see what I mean. Whether is a legit 6'2" is hard to say, but I would not rule it out in from this photo at all.

As I said before, I have seen the guy in real life. I am 1.89cm and there is no way he was only 1cm shorter than me. He is definitely no more than 6' and could possibly be even shorter. He actually looked to be about 5'11'', but it's possible he is just about 6' or a shade under. However, if you have seen him in real life, there is no way you would say he is 6'2''

People have mentioned how tall he looks in films. He wouldn't be the first person to have some assistance in that department.

I saw him at Luton Airport in 2002 and he looked about 5'11'. I'm 6'2 1/2'' and he was definitely a good few inches shorter. The Leeds fan website at http://www.leedsfans.org.uk/leeds/players/448.html seems to back up my estimate.

I remember seeing a documentary on him where he was followed about by a film crew, anyway he got onto some scales where you have to type in your height etc and the ticket that came out definitely said 6'0" and 13 stone something or other as the camera panned over it for a second or two, why would he downgrade himself 2 inches? i think his reputation makes people think he's larger than he really is but i'd definitely say 6' give or take 0.5"
