Whaaat I thought he was a solid 6’2.5”-6’3” in rumble fish walking next to 5’10.75” Matt Dillon. Looked real tall.

At least 6'0.25" not 182 not 183cm.

Taller than Nicolas Cage and Laurence Fishburne in Rumble Fish. A good 2in taller than Matt Dillon in Over The Edge and still 3in on a lifts-enhanced Stallone in Oscar
182cm is too low for him.

i saw the movie Alive from 1993 the other day and he didnt stroke me as being å tall guy. I world have thought 181-2 from that movie but bad movie to judge height from. After looking at Photo, he looks that Nick Nolte height.

The days when Stallone could have fooled most into thinking he was 5ft11, probably why this guy started getting reported as 6ft2. Similar scenario to Travolta and Kyle MacLachlan who also fell victim to the 1-2in rule
However I don’t it’s as extreme for Vince, he did look like a 6ft1 range guy in Rumble Fish and Over The Edge

He may not have been far from it and today doesn’t look much different

He doesn't have the best proportions for his height.

For what it's worth, here's how he looked with Urban:

Good add. I wondered about this guy from Oscar. Sly pulled off looking just about 2" shorter in that film with lifts less obvious than some of his others. Here's a full still that's pretty representative of how they looked together:
Click Here I'd think Spano was about 6' in the film since Sly passed for about the same height as Don Ameche in the film, who may have been 5'10" flat having lost surprisingly little height since he Ameche was just a half inch to an inch shorter than Joe Mantegna 3 years earlier in Things Change. Other times, Spano could give a more solid 6' impression so I think this can't be far wrong.

Saw a bit of Rumble Fish and he does look taller than Nicolas Cage, Matt Dillon, Chris Penn and Laurence Fishburne
Rob, arguably 6ft1 peak?

I'm not so sure he was an honest 6ft 1, though he might have looked it at times.

I bet he claims 6ft2

Thanks, Rob! Although I haven't seen that much of him, I remember him from a couple of Italian tv series/movies and my impression was that he was possibly over 6', but certainly no more than 6'1, so 6'0.5 doesn't seem a bad shout.
Hard to say from this photo
Click Here , but it would be interesting to see if he has any good scene with Karl Urban as apparently they recently did a movie together, especially if Karl is a genuine 6'0.5 himself...

By mid 50's, it's always possible Spano might be slightly smaller than he was in his 30's.

Look more like fraction over 6'0 and def one of a strongest 6'0 guy listed here.
