This Tales of the Unexpected is really quite funny! Tom is making a great big fuss about some gloves which are regularly disappearing from his store. It turns out that the smart water points either to his wife, played by Janet Leigh, or someone who is having an affair with her. There are male handprints all over Janetβs back, which he notices in the dark!

5β7β confirmed for Bosley, voted for. Rob was right, as usual.

Almost impossible to say whether Bosley was more 5β6β or 5β7β. For now, Iβd have settle on 5β6.5β but Iβm not ready to vote on it yet. Bosley had a similar height and build to John Hillerman.

5ft7 is definitely nowhere near 5ft9! π

Having spent thanksgiving with Mr. Bosley and his wonderful family I can say with absolute certainty that he was closer to 5β 5β.

He did say he was short in one episode. Didn't say how tall he was exactly but he asks Richie what he thinks of his height and he responds, "Pretty Darn Short".

yes, in his peak - 5'8". Stood barely taller than Fonzie, even when Fonzie had his boots on, and about an inch shorter than 5'9" Ron Howard.

Sorry, Rob, couldn't resist..
Looking at some old clips of Happy days recently. I agree Bosley looks more 5'8
compared to Howard.
Others were (I think): Williams: near 5'10 Marion Ros: 5'6 Erin Moran: 5'4 Henry Winkler: about 5'6 Donny Most: ? etc, etc...

I have to say I DO believe he was 5'8" throughout most of his life. If you watch old Happy Days episodes, he looks about an inch shorter than Ron Howard whom I have heard on several occasions say he is 5'9". And, yes, I have actually studied this before as I watched Happy Days. No, I don't think 5'9" but I do believe 5'8".
