🕯️🎉🎂 Happy Birthday Timothy! 🎂🎉🕯️
Tim turns 85 today. Wishing him a very Happy Birthday.
I think he was great in 'Tales Of The Unexpected'. He played a man who turned into a bee - brilliant, and heaps scarier than it sounds! 🐝🍯
I have great pleasure in giving Timothy a Birthday guess of 5ft9.

I'm so glad to find that this old favourite, Timothy West, has a page! I even find out that he's been in a great deal more of brilliant cinema than I ever imagined! No one can say that going to celebheights doesn't broaden the mind!
I best remember him for his part in an eerie episode of 'Tales of the Unexpected', in which he quite literally turns into a bee! I bet he grew tired of the 'still buzzing?' double entendres!
(🐝 "What? You actually want me?")
I am now observing him, however, in an episode of 'Lewis' called, 'Your Sudden Death Question', in which he stars as an ageing contestant of a quiz involving highly educated people. Of course, murder is involved, but I haven't got as far as who actually committed it yet, but the victim is young! But is the killer?
There are many juicy opportunities to see Timothy stand, and 5ft9 is the very smallest I would have said for him. I've given up using Lawrence Fox as a comparison stick! Everyone appears tiny next to him, but Lewis (Kevin Whateley) still looks little short of 5ft11, if not the full 5ft11, and Timothy is up to a couple of inches shorter!
I will go with 5ft9.

I actually completely agree with the post below by Vibram. 5'9.5 peak, 5'8 or 5'7.75 today. I've seen him up close.

Rob, I think he was 5'9 1/2 peak, slightly over 5'8 today in his early 80's. In the early 70's film Day of The Jackal he looked 5'9 1/2 next to 6ft1 Michael Lonsdale.
