In Yours, Mine and Ours, filmed in 1967-68, a 20 year old Tim Matheson was the same height as Henry Fonda, who at 63 was no taller than 6'-1".

In 1968, at the age of 20 (and probably at the tail end of his growth) was the same height as Henry Fonda in Yours, Mine and Ours, who were both no more than 5 to 5 1/2" taller than Lucille Ball.

I think they both stood about 6'-1/2" at that time, with Lucille Ball a strong 5'-7" to 5'-7 1/2"

6'2" sounds about right for him at peak. He looks this next to Robert Urich in 1973's MAGNUM FORCE.

@Hader: I saw the same episode of BURN NOTICE this past season. Today, 6'0" and some change. He's about 64 now, so maybe he's lost a bit.

Met Tim Matheson at the Virginia State Capitol while he was filming a TV Pilot. I was shaking his hand and he appeared to be my height. I'm 6 Foot 2.

That's right Height Tracker, Matheson did look about an inch or two shorter than Eastwood in Magnum Force although I would lean more towards one inch shorter. My guess is that he was probably at most 1.5 inches shorter than Eastwood, which would most likely put him at 6'2" or very close to it. I always thought he looked more like 6'1" in Animal House, but he could have been 6'2".
