Sceptic, those pics dont prove anything, he is further away from the camera and we cant see the shoes, so its impossible to compare. Even so he does looks pretty much taller than Alexander. 5'9" would be like 10 centimeters below the rob's estimate, thats just ridiculous. Then Doom is like 1,75 and Paul 1,58? Check that pic with Alice Cooper (5ft 9 ½) even with bad posture Till looks so much taller than him. Be realistic.

I got a good look at Till when they came to England on the Mutter tour ages ago. He was easily 6 foot 3 in boots. These were massive military boots that easily gave 2 or 2.5 inch lifts. 6 foot 1 or 6 foot would be my guess barefoot.

hmm i think this guy is probably little taller and i also wonder if he is known to wear lifts? my brother works as a security gard and his co worker is about 187 cm. One time when he was working on a club in stockholm the members of rammstein was there and he said ,according to my broter that till lindermann was about 190 mybe taller and another of the guy was 200 m. I dont think he is 190 cm tall. But The guy is 187 and i have meet him my brother is 191 and he thought til and my brother was about the same height. SO my guess is that he wears lifts. Because its strange that a 187 guy think that a 184 guy is over 190.

Maybe it was their boots adding slightly to their height? They usually do wear boots when they perform. I do believe you, and to be honest I always thought Till often looked a good 186 cm. But Till listed himself at 184 cm on his passport. Unless that passport photo was a fake, I think it's safe to assume that's his height, he seems like an honest guy.

Till has a wierd build, usually when people go above 185 cm they start to get a little more slender while Till looks above average while having the stockiness off someone below average. As for the height barefoot, remember: Heels together and head up I'm 176 cm, but while walking with a normal posture most people would guess I'm just over 170. Samet thing with Till, not 6'4 but he's nowhere under 185/6'1. My guess is 6'2/187-188, 6'4/193 with those bigass boots. Also, having spoken to a stageworker who is 192 cm, he claimed that Till was exactly his height and well over 200 lbs, 2012. Not his heaviest but still big.

I met them all in person last May. In order of tallest to shortest: Ollie, Flake, Till, Richard, and Paul. I know Schneider is taller than Richard, but I didn't see him stand next to Till so I can't confirm who is taller there. Till towered over my 5'7" height and had a good inch or two over my 6 foot guy friend. He was in costume at the time so he was wearing his military boots. I'd say those give him at least an inch of additional height.

My best guess is 1.8 inches between Till and Axel. Click Here In that pic there I have lined up with other pics so you can see where their skull-lines would start. I cut out a bit from halfway down Till's eye to just above his eyebrow. Typically this is about 1 inch on a man; however Till is taller than the average man, so 1.2 inches is a good estimate. 1 and a half of these fills up the gap, so I estimate 1.8 inches between them.

Footwear is unknown, but we do know that Till almost always wears military-style boots, so I am making my best guess and saying he had ~1.5 inches of footwear and I will assume Axel had a typical 1 inch.

So if we see Axel is about 6'2.6, the total difference between him and Till, by my best estimation, is about 2.3 inches, making Till 6' and some change.

Yes, I can't be absolutely sure about this, but to my mind it is the best guess we have.

Your guesses seem to be mine, but pretty much minus 1 inch.

One person who I am still unsure on is Doom. He always appears very similar to Till, but sometimes can appear just a hair taller, sometimes just a hair shorter. Best guess I'd say anywhere from a strong 6 foot to a weak 6'1.

I agree with your estimations of the height difference between Till and Flake. I think 1.25" - 1.5" is spot on. I'd lean towards 1.5". And the 3.25" difference estimation between Flake and Ollie looks really accurate too, give or take a little. So I figure if Till is 186 cm, I have Flake at 190 cm, Ollie 198 cm, Doom 184 cm, Richard 176 cm, and Paul 171 cm. And those are the heights I believe that they are. Now if Till is 184 cm, knock 2 cm off of all those guys and it falls into place, which is the shortest I think they could be (but I'd certainly still call it possible).

The entire band is amazingly overlisted by fangirls. All over the Internet it's got Till at 6'3 or 6'4 and Ollie at heights like 6'8!

Till with boxer Axel Shulz: who I think is around 6'2.5 looking at him with the Klitschko brothers. See the pic here: Click Here The difference looks ~2 inches to me. That said, Till *usually* is in boots, so I will guess there is more like 2.25 - 2.5 inches between these men.

Axel is billed at 6'3, but I reckon this is a rounded measurement or possibly from earlier in the day. See him with the Klitscho brothers. I have seen them listed at 6'6 and 6'7 respectively, 6'7 and 6'8 respectively, along with 6'6.5 and 6'7.5 respectively. So I think it is fair to give them the latter listings and assume that they play around with rounding sometimes. Click Here In that pic it is better to compare Axel with the shorter of the two brothers at 6'6.5. Axel doesn't even quite reach his eyebrow peaks, so on a guy with a presumably larger than average head at 6'6'5, we're looking at a good 4 inches of difference I think. That said, the ground is tilted slightly to Axel's disadvantage, so I think it is fairer to say there is 3.75 - 4 inches between them. This makes Axel 6'2.5 - 6'2.75 range.

So since he is around 2.25 - 2.5 inches taller than Till, as I said, I think Till is approximately 6'0.25 in realty.

Till looks generally around 1.25 - 1.5 inches shorter than Flake: Click Here So I will put Flake in the 6'1.5 - 6'1.75 range.

Flake, I would say, is about 3.25 inches under Ollie, so I would put Ollie around 6'4.75 - 6'5.

He's very hard to pin down at any height. I think the 186 cm listing is a really good guess. I'd be shocked if he was under 6'0". Likewise, I'd be shocked if the 192 cm listings around the net were accurate as well. I get a 6'1"-ish impression in the Chad Smith photo, 6'2" for sure in the Biedermann photo, and 6'0"-ish in the Vin Deisel pics but I don't really trust those. The only Dave Grohl pic I've seen the two did look even, but the photo was at a terrible angle. Until the day he gives a quote on his height himself, I think it will remain somewhat of a mystery. I think the 186 cm listing suits him perfectly, but there's not really that much evidence to base his height on.

I would estimate 215 lbs or so nowadays. Back in Volkerball era he could have been 240ish.

I lean towards him being 184cm range, on account of the people I have seen him with having been more likely to have their own heights exaggerated rather than downgraded; but he's still a hard guy to be certain on.

Not the best pic for judging height, but you can at least see that they would be similar. I'm still not sure on Till. Really we have evidence that he could be anywhere from like 5'11 - 6'2. He looks 5'11 - 6 next to Chad Smith and Vin Diesel. Then he looks like 6'1.5 with Hetfield. Looks 6' with Dave Grohl. Looked 6'1 with some 6'3 German Boxer. Looks 6'1 with Biedermann. But then he says some 6' swimmer was taller than himself. People who have met him seem to have seen him all the way from 5'11 - 6'4 and his height listings on the net are all over the place.

186 is a reasonable estimate. It's hard because with rockstars they don't pose like actors do on the red carpet, and their footwear is all over the place. Their height claims and descriptions are less likely to be accurate too because height isn't important like it is in acting.

Funny thing is, the difference between Till and Chad Smith (listed at 6'3) is bigger than between him and this Biedermann guy. Maybe he isn't a legit 6'4? I still lean towards 184, but 186 is a respectable estimate.

He can look 183 - 184 cm in photos, no doubt about that, although he can also occasionally pass for 190 cm in photos as well. Vin Diesel's photo, I never really trust it entirely because it's Vin and he wears some of the dodgiest footware. The only photo of Till I've seen with Dave Grohl was at a useless angle, but there might be another one that's out there that I've never stumbled upon.
If Till is 186 cm (which I think is fair to give him if you've next to Chad Smith, Munky, Claude Oliver Rudolph, and Paul Biedermann) I'd give Flake 190 cm, Doom 184 cm, Richard 176 cm, Paul 171 cm, and Ollie 198 cm.

So don't take those estimates as my final ones for all of the band. That's just if I took Till as 6 foot. My best guess is that he's some fraction over 6 foot. Yeah, that pic is very good. The ground is ever so slightly convex though, and Doom's head is tipped slightly down. They look to be all in some sort of boots too, so footwear is more or less a given.

Till is about 6', I believe. Him with Vin Diesel, Chad Smith, and Dave Grohl are good examples of why I believe this. If we take him as 6', then based on that pic Click Here I estimate all the band members:

Flake: Strong 6'2

Richard: Weak 5'9

Paul: Weak 5'6

Doom: Like Till, around 6' even

I don't know. He looked a fair bit shorter than Chad Smith. He looked very similar in height to Dave Grohl and Vin Diesel (though like I said Vin was you could tell in big lifts). He also looked like he was sort of puffing himself up to appear taller next to Till, and I saw people comment on this on a Rammstein fansite. Vin is honestly quite pathetic with his height complex. But anyway I would go more for 6' - 6'1 than 6'1 - 6'2.

His weight is hard to pinpoint really, because it seems to shift around quite a lot. He is always muscular, but at times he has had a full-on hanging gut and drooping chest, and at times he has had veins popping out and defined abs. I actually did see an article where he said every time he goes on tour he swims for hours every day to lose a load of weight to prepare, and he said he lost 25kg coming up to the tour. I think it is normal for ex-athletes to struggle with weight, because they get used to taking in that massive amount of calories but are no longer burning them off. But I suppose it also might be that he gains it on purpose to help build muscle and then "cuts".

I do think he is more 6'1" - 6'2" range than 6'0" though, next to Munky and Claude Oliver Rudolph he certainly looked more 6'1" - 6'2". 186 cm is a good listing. As for his weight, I'm not sure what he'd be but he is a pretty muscular guy. He used to be a competitive swimmer.

Till has an older version of my own build, and im almost 6ft....if you look at his build, its not the build of a 6`3 man......nor 6`2 in fact i have another really good friend of just over 6`1 and he is 100kg or 220 lbs as well, and he looks way taller and longer in his bones and structure. that stocky looks changes once you`re over 6ft...

i would pretty much guarantee he is 6ft exactly......

You're completly wrong brother!! The bass player, Oliver is the tallest one, Flake,the keyboard guy is tall but not as Oliver and Richard, the guitarrist is "short" besides all members (not Paul), maybe 5'10 for Richard..

You're completly wrong brother!! The bass player, Oliver is the tallest one, Flake,the keyboard guy is tall but not as Oliver and Richard, the guitarrist is "short" besides all members (not Paul), maybe 5'10 for Richard..

I think Oliver is at least 6'5" / 196 cm. Till is at least 6'0.5" min - even though he can look only 6'0" at times, I still think the 6'1.25" listing is fair b/c he's looked 6'2" a lot and at times even 6'3".

Everyone in the band is freakishly tall, the bass player is 6'6, the keyboardist is almost 6'7, the lead guitarist is 6'3. Till is shorter than they are but they don't dwarf him, this height looks about right.

The video is actually very interesting. Till also looked taller than bandmate Doom. Additionally Till looked clearly taller than legit 6' Dave Grohl in comparison to the interviewer. Manson looked taller than Till in comparison, but he often wears enormous platforms (way bigger than Till's boots) so who knows what that means. I think he's as listed.

Anyway, I think you're off by about an inch; I doubt you compared footware and the like (tennis shoes have a lot of heel). I think Till is between 6'0" and 6'1"; not "tall" but certainly above average by about 2.5 inches and sturdily built.

Yeah, a 6'4" cm Till puts Oliver at 6'9" give or take, Flake around 6'6", Doom near 6'4", they'd be pretty much the tallest band ever assembled. A strong 6'1" is more realistic, where Oliver is near 6'6", Flake 6'3", Doom 6'1".

I worked security for Rammsteins last European tour. I am 183 cm. We were both in boots and both at the same eye level. He looks taller than actually is. He is definitely not in the 190 range. I would say 6' to 6.05'.

i got the conclusion that till is actually 6 ft no more i met a couple of weeks ago vin diesel im a solid 6ft1 i talked to him a little bit he was 5ft 11 and he was wearing normal shoes now i have watched photos of till and vin and till looks as tall as vin may be a little bit more tall but they like to use boots so ill give them with boots 6ft1

@ulrich I'd downgrade Paul to 5'7", maybe 5'7,5", upgrade flake to 6'3" and olli to 6'5" at least, really looks giantish, I agree with the rest, maybe Till can look even 6'2" with his boots and this would be why he often looks as tall as Doom that doesn't wear tall shoes often, especially at concerts..

Schneider 182-183 (he looks often a hair taller than Till and very few times a hair shorter, maybe due to their shoes)
Flake 192-193 (easily 8-9 cm taller than Till and Schneider and he often wear flat shoes, even at gigs)
Paul 170-171 cm (he ALWAYS looks short or at least shortish in EVERY crowd, and a 175 guy would not, at all)
Richard 175 (more is difficult otherwise he would have looked at least as tall as Till on stage during 1998-2003 concerts where he used to wear tall platform mansonish shoes of almost 10cm and he never looked as tall as Till who on stage could reach 185+ with his boots)
Oliver 198 (often towers Till, Richard, Paul and Schneider and still noticeably taller than Flake)

Thank you Elis, Vin is from 5'10" to 5'11" at VERY most and Till looks 1 inch taller and Dave Gahan, let's say 5'9 is over Till's eye level so is standing at less than 4 inches shorter than till, maybe 3 and we have Till ad 6'1", consider that Till is in On-stage Suit (fans can recognize that shirt) so with very thick boots that may very well give him ulterior advantage making him from 6' to 6',05"
