I felt he’s more of a Weak 5’11” than just over 5’10” most of the times w/ someone like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Andy Lau, Donnie Yen, Jean Reno, Shu Qi, Huang Xiaoming, Ben Barnes, Ben Gazaara & especially Colin Chou! etc. and the list goes on.

I have no doubt he’d definitely clear the 5’10” range easily for sure. Tho he isn’t quite a Solid 5’11” guy, we can both agree on that!

I feel like most guys this height can say they’re around a comfortable 180cm (a standard portrayed as above average for Asian standards, even tall back in the day). Kaneshiro seems no stranger to this and the general consensus has him at 5ft 10.25. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if others believed him to be 179-180 range.

If leehom wang is the same height as takeshi, then takeshi cannot get over 5'10. Leehom wang is similar to show lo, who should be around 5'9 without shoes. I'd put both takeshi and leehom at 5'9.25- 5'9.75. They may be able to surpass 5'10 in the morning but that's not a guarentee

Takeshi is around 175-177 in my books and so is Chang Chen. They are weak 5'10 at best, 5'9 is probably more on the money.

Yeah, stars report fake heights but NOT all stars will fake their height. btw Takeshi is not a custom hong kong actor although he often stars in HK movies. He began his career in taiwan, and peaked it in Japan. He certainly looks like 181cm because he's slim, and i'm sure people can see that he can never belong to the 174-175 genre. And what's the difference btw 5 ft 9.5 and 5 ft 10 anyway, people are so accustomed to downgrading celebs.

no matter what the ht. is, he is gorgeous and a very good actor! even if you're 5'4 and acts really well...will that matter? For me, Takeshi cant be compared to any actors even here in the U.S. He has the depth and the looks! If only I can meet this wonderful person....
