I also have to add that the Channel 4 F1 cameras are very weird. Mark Webber can look the same height as Steve jones with jones only being a step in front. The difference between coulthard (5'11) and jones (6'3.5)can also look extremely exaggerated.

Having stood within a metre of him, I can categorically tell you 6'1 is out of the question. 6'2 flat id also say was unlikely..I'm 184.5 cms and he seemed 2 inches taller than me..im no expert height estimator but id say there's a great chance hed measure 189-190.

6'3'' I'd guess. Said in an interview that he couldn't cut it as a model because although he was good looking his looks weren't distinctive or striking enough for the top agencies. Sort of arrogant I suppose but at the same time shows a kind of honesty or self awareness.

Don't know how to add pics to this site but google Steve Jones and David Hasselhof. He doesn't look anywhere near 6 ft 4 or even 6 ft 3.

Older pictures of him show that he did use to weigh more. He may be less than that, now, but I'd say he was certainly that some years ago.

He was claiming 6 ft 4 right from the early days, I read an interview with him at least 15 years back. Looks about 200 lbs, but I'd say he is rounding up to 15 stone, looks too slender to me to really be it, unless he gained weight since his presenting stint in the US. He is sort of built like a 60s Sean Connery and looks quite similar to him at times. Connery was supposedly only about 175-180 pounds though at 6 ft 2.

A 6'4.5" guy in drag heels is going to look probably easily 6 ft 7 is heels, of course they'd look a lot taller! I think its possible that Steve was measured near 6 ft 4 in shoes for modelling, I think 190cm would suit him more barefoot. I can't believe Rampage and others here thought he was 6'1" range!

Yeah I think most guys would be lying if they said they wouldn't want to look like him and have his level of success with the ladies. I guess he's more irritating because he knows he's a chick magnet and is cocky with it, rather than guys like Welling or Padalecki who seem more humble and down to earth. See the Ian Brown interview with him, that pretty much sums up how awkward the common man is around him!

I think him claiming 6f4 is not too bad. Becuase the reality is nearly everyone inflates there height by (1-2"). So you are literally selling yourself short by not inflating aswell.

It's Steve Jones mate, "inflated" is an integral part of his personality... It is possible he is claiming his in shoe height as measured when modelling and rounding up.. I think it's clear he isn't a legit 6'4". I think 189-191 is what he'd be within. Rampage Clover once said he's 6'1 which is silly I thought.

Haydn is a little over 5 ft, he looks around 6'2" in comparison, but isn't stood fully straight, although her head is dipped too, if stood straight I think around 190cm by his proportions, weak 6'3" I think.
