Rob, can British actor Jack Hawkins receive a page?
Baker’s co-star of The Cruel Sea and Zulu, generally made 5’11.75” his own at peak, and is one legendary British actor still missing on Celebheights to rectify.

Editor Robhe could look near that in his peak years, sometimes 6ft looked arguable. I am not sure whether he really wore lifts in ben-hur though, there were rumours about that.

Baker was one of the tallest 5'11" guys who ever lived, quite a talented actor too! It is such a pity he only lived to 48 years of age!

Could pass for 5ft11½ with Caine in Zulu. Michael at almost 6ft2 and Stanley at just over 5ft11 could fit overall.

I remember Stanley Baker mostly for playing one of the supporting/lesser heroes in The Guns of Navarone & playing the villain in Knights of the Round Table, as well as in Campbell’s Kingdom. My guess for him is 5 ft 11 (180 cm) tall. He had all the looks & demeanour to play a GREAT VILLAIN.
I remember Stanley Baker mostly for playing one of the supporting/lesser heroes in The Guns of Navarone & playing the villain in Knights of the Round Table, as well as in Campbell’s Kingdom. My guess for him is 5 ft 11 (180 cm) tall. He had all the looks & demeanour to play a GREAT VILLAIN.

Yes Rob, I voted 5’11.25” for Baker, but I would not contest his often listed 5’11”. Hardy Krüger was more likely a flat 5’11” though- 5’10.75” to 5’11.25” range. Baker did look very close to six feet in Hell Drivers.
