Welsh actress best known for playing Genesis Walker on ITV soap opera Emmerdale. She once said "I'm only 5ft 3in, so it's not natural for me to be any bigger than I am right now", and on another occasion made a point about the legroom on British trains: "I am 5'3. How can a normal sized person sit on this train??? My knees are battered. LEGROOM, PEOPLE".

Now I do remember Sian's character Genesis (Genny) Walker in 'Emmerdale'. She played the adopted daughter of Brenda Walker - and was killed off.
We still often hear Brenda, played by Lesley Dunlop, refer back to her beloved daughter.
Quite honestly, I thought Sian was no more than 5ft2, or at a push, 5ft2.25, so I will go for the 2nd option.
