Shirley Booth's Height

American actress best remembered for her role in 1960's TV series Hazel. She also appeared in films such as Come Back, Little Sheba, About Mrs. Leslie and The Matchmaker. In an article it once described her as such:
"Shirley Booth is frank about her age; she is 45, but looks years younger. In the flesh, she looks considerably smaller than she does on stage; she is five feet one and a half inches tall, weighs a carefully controlled 132 pounds."

Cheers Rob, these are some really good new additions, can you also add About Mrs. Leslie, I've become quite a fan of the director Daniel Mann. Seems OK, the highest I'd have gone with, I wouldn't have guessed any higher though. Funny, but I'd thought she looked older than her years despite her childlike demeanour in Come Back. She looked probably ten years older in Come Back Little Sheba to the point she might have lost a bit of height. I was thinking she looks quite similar to Thelma Ritter around that 5'1 mark. I think she edged out Terry Moore a little who I'd put at 5'0.5-5'1 range, she's worth adding too, I believe I linked the film and some comparisons of her on the requests page with that 5'7" actor and looking perhaps 6 or 7 inches shorter.
