The impeccably mannered Morse is by no means short of female admirers! In this episode, entitled 'Muse', which is episode 1 of Series 5, he's had no less than two beautiful women making a beeline for him, but he's far too professional; these women aren't exactly involved in the most savoury of careers either, one being suspected of murder.

As one would expect, the young Morse, who is played by Shaun, won't tolerate any bad manners or insensitivity when dealing with the despicable murders taking place in Oxford in the 60s.
He even gave a fellow detective a most peculiar look when the officer of the law said to a suspect that if he was lying, he'd have his cobblers made into a key fob!
5ft9.75. 😁

🎁🎊🎂🎈 Happy Birthday Shaun! 🎈🎂🎊🎁
Wishing Shaun Evans a fabulous 41st Birthday today!
My word, Shaun is only around half a decade younger than John Thaw's Inspector Morse when he started his career as the super sleuth. ITV3 are repeating the Inspector Morse series and episodes 1 and 2 are being shown this afternoon, starting at 1.15.
Shaun was a good choice in the height and colouring department to play the famous inspector, John Thaw having been fairish haired as a young man, as is Shaun, though it isn't easy to tell from the picture, though some might feel Shaun is a tiny bit too tall.
5ft9.5. 😁🍻😃🚗🎶 XXX

I just saw Shaun in an episode of 'Ashes to Ashes', and he was a complete contrast to the part he plays in 'Endeavour'. He had a Cockney accent, swore, and had killed a fellow copper. I also noticed Roger Allam in this, so they weren't strangers when they started working on 'Endeavour'!
Shaun looked 5ft9.5/10. I shall vote for 5ft9.5.

Thanks again Rob!
There is a very tall sportsman called Clive Barker and I believe he's well over 6ft, probably as tall as 6ft2/4!
I'm sorry to hear that Clive Barker, brilliant English writer and director, has got mobility problems now. He did star in Stephen King's epic 'The Stand', so it might be well worthwhile to dig it out for that reason - that's if I can stop winding it back over and over again to hear Blue Oyster Cult's 'Don't Fear the Reaper'!

THANK YOU ROB! 👏
It is so fantastic to see Shaun Evans on Celebheights!
He has really proved himself as a remarkable young actor, for to step into the shoes of someone as fantastic as Inspector Morse, and do justice to his role, is high praise indeed.
'Inspector Morse' actor John Thaw's optimum height was 5ft9, and by choosing Shaun to play him in his younger days shows that they must have given some thought to select an actor of similar height and colouring, and with an educated accent, be it put on or otherwise! Yes, while watching Shaun the other night, he looked of decidedly 'tall average' height to me. It came as no surprise to find his height was around 5ft9.5/5ft10.
I have also seen Shaun acting in a Clive Barker horror film. I'll be back later with its title... 😉
Shaun gets sixty-nine-and-a-half top quality inches!

I know you asked about Clive once, but even though I seen him up close he was walking nothing like he would in his prime, obviously he had medical problems and looked barely taller than 5ft 8 (and really struggled walking), I'm not sure on his prime height.
