One of her agencies also gave her vital statistics as: Bust 32 inches, Waist 23 inches and Hips 34 inches, with shoe size 4.5UK.

Stood behind her at CVS in Miami before the new year. The girl loves CVS clearly! Beautiful. But definitely not 5'8! I'm 5'5 and she's either same height or perhaps a tad smaller. But she's much slimmer and probably photographs taller.

Girl I know is 5'6.5 listed 5'7.5 and does mostly editorial work and got cast on a hair editorial with Sara. She said Sara was easily shorter than her, by an inch at least. The height difference between her and the other VS models is insane too. She's under 5'6.

Sara's 5'8.5 and 5'9" claims are absolute jokes. She'd think that my mom would be 6'0" (a true 5'9"), my dad at 6'1" (really 5'10") and me at 6'1.5" (I'm 5'10.5"). She's a flat 5'6" to 5'6.5" from what I can see.

Those are much worse harbingers of fake trivia though. At least with height you have a visual ability in most cases to guess to within an inch or thereabouts...but with net worth you have absolutely no clue at all.

I think this listing is pretty accurate. But again, It’s hard to pinpoint her exact height because of posture, angles, lighting and other factors.
I wanted to make a positive post, focusing on all the positive aspects rather than negative ones,
She is a good height for a woman (above average) but is only considered short for a runway model. Of course a 6’1 model is to make someone who is 5’6.5 look short. She has a great personality and attitude and is funny, smart, charismatic, confident, hardworking and have so many other characteristics that make her so admirable. Those traits compensates for the couple of inches of height that she lacks.
Being a model doesn’t mean all their life is glitz and glamour. The modelling industry can be very harsh on women, as they are constantly being criticized for their body and are put on strict diet and exercise regimens. Not to mention the hectic schedules and having to travel without any breaks. It takes so much strength and dedication to work as a full time model, so props to all the models out there. I got to give credit to Sara who overcame so many adversities to become the model she is today, even with so many people critiquing her for her height.
I think Sara will go far in life and accomplish so much more in the future. Again, runway modelling can only be a career for so long as the industry generally prefers young models. So in the long run, it doesn’t really matter what her height is.

Rob, if I may, let me point out that if this website continues to lack rigor, it will turn into just a "feel good" website to make short people feel good about themselves and have the illusion they too could be models. I lived in NYC and I spotted a couple of models and to be honest they looked way taller than they are featured and than I expected. A friend of mine saw Gigi in NYC and said the exact same thing. It's unrealistic to think that some of these girls such as Sara Sampaio are as short as 5'5. She went for a brief trip to Paris when she was a freshman in college and she was immediately booked by agencies and started getting jobs. Then she went to NY and in one afternoon when VS saw her photos, they called her in to take some shots for the brand. I don't think she would be so successful in the industry if she did not have at least 5'7.

If the other models are have a standard runway height (5.9 - 5.10 - 6.1) she will naturally look very short compared to them. In Portugal she was always featured on the 5.7+ range and I really doubt she would have such a successfull career with contracts in top agencies if she was anything shorter than that.

I am Portuguese and I actually met a hairdresser back in Portugal who worked with her and he told me she is a very strong 5.7 (170). To claim she is 5.5 is kind of absurd. She had no connections whatsover in the Fashion world and she made it completely on her own. Do you really think she would have become an Angel and such a successfull model if she was 5.4-5.5? Please! She may not be the tallest model, but she has enough height to be a serious model and not just a print or insta model.

Credit to her for having a runway career. That genre of modelling tends to be less lenient in regards to height. They usually require 5'9" minimum (which in reality means 5'8" minimum).
She is always noticeably shorter compared to other models on the runway. Which is usually a big no no for a designer.

Saw her in NYC this fall and she's a gorgeous girl with an average height. I'm not good at telling heights but I assume she was 5'4/5'5 since she had heels on and still wasn't even close to my height (5'10)

Thanks for adding her Rob. I believe this is "fair." Victoria's secret lists her as 5ft7.5. Anything over what you've listed her at is too generous.
If I were to list her, it would be at 5ft6. She clearly is no taller than Emily Ratajkowski & Kate Moss who are both listed here at 5ft6.
